This is our favorite carpet solution. It does a great job of cleaning the carpet completely, removes pet odor and removes stains as well. A little bit goes a long way!

Our senior dog left a land mine and puddle on the carpet next to the piano in our living room. It was our fault--we failed to let her out when she needed it. If you've dealt with this before, you know that one cleaning with a vacuum carpet cleaner (ours is an old Bissell Model 1631 carpet cleaner that they don't make anymore) won't do it. The pee soaks down to the pad, then wicks up later from the wet carpet fibers. It's a little hard to know it this success was because it was my 3rd go at cleaning the area, or the product. Probably a little of both. Previously, I bought another product made for pee stains. It smelled worse than the pee. A strong scent to cover up other scents to me is not fixing the issue. This has a very nice, mild fragrance that went away as the carpet dried. I put a box fan in front of it to dry the cleaned area better and I highly recommend you do the same.

Great product, does a really good job. Rinses out easily, no residue. Nice-sized bottle, lasts for a good amount of time.

I’ve been using the Hoover Pet Spot and Stain Remover on both fresh pet accidents and some older mystery spots on my carpet. For fresh stains, this works great — spray it, let it sit for about 5 minutes, and blot. Most of the time, the stain comes right up and the smell is noticeably reduced. It does okay with set-in stains, but I had to reapply a couple of times and follow up with a steam cleaner to get rid of lingering odors. The scent is mild and clean, which I appreciated since some cleaners can be overwhelming. Overall, I recommend this for quick cleanups and routine maintenance, especially if you have pets that occasionally make messes. Just keep in mind it’s not a miracle product for older or very strong pet odors — but for day-to-day messes, it’s a solid choice. Works amazing with our Hoover cleaner. Cleaned 2 rooms with it. We have 2 dogs, a cat and a baby that’s leaves messes. Works wonders and smells wonderful.

Used this solution for the first time today on carpets that were long overdue for a deep clean! Two teen, two dog household- really overdue! :) Very good results- area rugs look great, and the scent is pleasant and mild.

Works with out SHARK Carpet cleaner and have had to use it multiple times due to our furry friends having accidents. That really awful pee smell was gone once carpet cleaned. Its a decent size bottle and comes with easy to use instructions. I'd say considering the size its a pretty good bang for your buck.
