Equiderma Skin Lotion for Horses, by Telesis

Have tried so many different lotions and potions and creams over the years on our cob and this lotion completely cleared really thickened and crusty mallenders in days after years of trying so many things. Well worth the cost.

this is excellent for horses suffering from salandars mallanders really works well unlike a lot of products this does not leave a horrible greasy sticky mess that is nearly impossible to remove i have found it has excellent results on my pony most of her scabs have nearly all gone there is improvement by the day

I have a pony with a skin condition that I thought was leg mites now I think it is Hyperkeratosis and have been using this to calm the skin and soften the exudate that collects prior to keeping it clean and itch free.

Bought this because it had rave reviews in cases of mallenders. Maybe my pony badly reacted but used it for 3 days and the skin was red raw and the scabs much worse and poor mare would hardly let me near it!

I very rarely write reviews but since I rely heavily on them myself, I thought I would write a review for this product because it is a true wonder lotion. I look after a 35 year old flea-bitten grey Arab gelding. His cannon crud (keratosis) is horrendous. I have tried Betadine shampoo, anti-fungal lotion, Eqyss Micro-Tek gel etc. EQUIDERMA WORKS! After the first use, great clumps of black lifted from his legs, by the fourth day, a gentle rubber curry and the crud disappeared completely. There was no irritation, bleeding or hair loss. This product is a miracle and I will keep using it and telling anyone who will listen about it.

This product is amazing! My mare was in a bad boarding situation this winter, malnourished & covered in rain rot from the backs of her ears down to the dock of her tail, down each leg with the beginings of secondary infection before I could pull her out of there. I tried this product based on customer reviews & a hope for fast recovery. It was worth every penny. I don't have an indoor bathing stall so couldn't bath her in the neem shampoo along with the lotion. An Equiderma rep. advised me of what to do though. I rubbed the lotion in every spot & a little beyond the affected areas (basically her whole body) & saw remarkable improvement by 2nd day. Three days of treatment & by day 4 all rot was gone! I am so happy my girl is no longer suffering & healthy fur is growing back. This is a must have product in my barn from now on. Can't wait to try the neem shampoo & spray. Never ending bot fly eggs on her legs are next to go!
