Sony PlayStation 3 250GB Console - Black (Renewed)

The PS3 console arrived formatted, in excellent physical condition and almost no dust whatsoever; It also included the Manufacturer's Warranty seal sticker underneath the console. The controller was DOA. I am a computer tech, so I just ordered a PS3 controller replacement battery off Amazon and replaced the original battery. The controller works great! I didn't expect the original battery to work after about 10-15 years so I just knew it had to be replaced! The controller had some scratches, but it can be overlooked as this PS3 was from 2013 or prior. I knew this because I pulled out what might have been the original Hard Drive, from 2013! The HDD was marked '13. I decided to upgrade to a 250GB SDD, and the PS3 works flawless. Thank you!

The original package was missing a charging cable for the wireless controller. When I reached out to the seller, they sent me two charging cables right away. The system and controller both work great. I had to reset/update the system before first use, but now there are no issues at all. My original review is below: The contents of the package were: A PlayStation 3, one PlayStation wireless controller, one power cable, and one HDMI cable. The package did not contain a charging cable for the wireless controller. When I turned the system on, it displayed the message, "The system was not turned off properly the last time it was used. The file system on the system storage may be corrupted. This system will restart, check the file system and restore it if it is corrupted. If the file system is corrupted, it may take 2 to 3 hours to complete." I have no way to select the option to initiate this process because the wireless controller is out of battery and I was given no way to charge it.

The CD case doesn’t work, you have to move it manually, one of the pieces of the side fell off, the control had drift and ghost buttons, and the system is corrupted, it works at the beginning but when you try to play a game the screen freezes, I tried to restart the system from safe mode to fix the corrupted files but it didn’t work, it even crashes in the playstation store. Don’t buy this.

The PS3 Slim I bought in 2010 finally developed the yellow light of death even after a repasting so I decided to opt for the more energy-efficient and lighter-weight PS3 Super Slim. It’s sleek, has a disc tray that isn’t motorized and thus won’t fail, and cools a lot more efficiently than the Slim model. When it comes to running processor-intensive games like GTA V, this PS3 Super Slim with its superior cooling never struggles nearly as much as the Slim model during those trying times. I highly recommend this renewed PS3!

Looked brand new works great no issues at all

showed up all factory reset, and acted just like a brand new one...i paid extra to get it in two days. doesnt.look like they used a "magic eraser" to clean it and the did open it up so i hope they really did refurbish it. comes with one controller that looks original, and works fine.

Llevo varios meses probando lo y me funciona perfectamente, solo el control tiene algún botón que no agarra si no lo aprimes con fuerza, todo lo demás está bien

La consola funciono bien pero el control me llego dañado, no decidí devolver el producto y mejor comprar el control debido a que la consola es un tanto escasa y difícil de conseguir y la consola funciona bien

El proveedor no revisa el estado del priducto antes de mandarlo, el control llego descompuesto y tuve que comprar otro ademas de mandar a reparar el defectuoso.

La consola funciona justo como se espera. La he probado con juegos digitales y físicos y todo bien. Es mi primera consola reacondicionada y funciona muy bien, he monitoreado el sonido del ventilador y su temperatura y nada fuera de lo normal. Pero si tiene un par de detalles. La consola qué recibí no le funciona el botón de expulsión de disco, está inutilizable. Se tiene que abrir manualmente siempre. Otro detalle es que el dualshock 3 venía sin cable y esraba sucio. Y el dualshock 3 no se conecta solo si las consola esta apagada, de estar apagado el ps3 solo se conecta si usas un cable y despues lo desconectas y entonces se empareja por fin con el ps3. Si la consola está prendida, el dualshock 3 si se conecta solo inalambricamente sin problema, muy raro. Por lo demás, todo bien.
