I have yet to wash it so I will be doing that today, but I can speak to the WOW-factor it received from both me and home nurse. Capri is being trained to be my medical alert service dog , as Kensington has been retired due to an injury. Both are White German Shepherds.Capri can be a little noncompliant right now — “teenager” testing how far she can push me before she gets the deep stern voice commands. She has her blanket, when it is laid on the floor, whether out or at home, she knows she is to sit or lay down on it. But when my home nurse comes to access my port, placing a needle in my chest, Capri goes into overprotective mode. She eyes everything Nurse Eileen does, including taking my BP, temp, oxygen saturation. Capri sits on my right side, instead of the normal left side where her blanket lies.The blanket had arrived but still was unopened. Capri was being a true teenager and not listening. So, just before placing the needle in, I stopped the process and opened the box. The second I placed it on the floor, she went straight to it and laid down; on her side even. Went from hyper to incredibly calm in an instant! My nurse and I looked at one another in shock. “What is that brand?!?”, escaped Nurse Eileen’s lips after the long moment of silence.I have purchased a few more.In addition, Capri captured a fledgling bird this past weekend; and once she dropped it, it flew into the pool. Once I scooped it out of the pool, it tried to thrash and get away, but his wings were too wet. As soon as I placed into the shag blanket, he stopped attempting to flee. Another, immediate calming event. Once he was dried off, I released him into the front yard and watched him learn to fly.The price point is wonderful. I am going to purchase one for Capri and a few more to donate at the shelter.

My dog loves this blanket. He drags it around the house to lay on. Very soft and warm. Will buy again.

Lets put it this way, I want one for my BED!!!!!

I like it but my dogs don't. Have 6 and none of them will bother with it. My cats like it though.

She had even tried to take it outside with her.

Purchased this to put on top of a dog bed and the dog LOVES it! He will not sleep on the bed without it. It is soft, washes nicely, and can be carried in a bag easily. Spoil your pet a little and let them have one!!

My cats both love this (and they're picky - many things are never in favor). Washes well.

My dog loves this blanket. She gets on it every day. It is very cozy and the perfect size. It is good quality and thickness.
