Excellent Chromebook, if chrome worked properly.
This product came super fast and works exactly as advertised, unfortunately Chromebooks still lack some functionality and are still super wonky at times. Hopefully Google can get that fixed but overall it's been great, best Chromebook I used. A few concessions though, there is no USB female ports, just type c. One on each side. It has a great microphone for picking up voice but the speakers are atrocious... And I mean absolutely brutal on this product.

This Pixel has NOT been renewed
Very disappointing. I knew beforehand I was not buying a brand new product and I did not have naive expectations, but Amazon needs to revise its definition of "renewed" and needs to vet the resellers allowed to sell renewed products on its site. This Pixelbook has NOT been renewed. It was just used, plain and simple, like any used Pixelbook one can buy from any random Joe on Ebay. It came with very visible scratches and dents and had barely been cleaned. Most important, the defect that led someone to return this laptop had NOT been fixed. The unit invariably shuts down when the battery is around 65% full, according to the battery charge indicator. I can barely get a couple of hours of use and need to have the power cord constantly on hand. The OS occasionally freezes, and screen hinges are loose and woobly, making it difficult to use the touchscreen. It is pretty obvious that the reseller barely dusted off this unit, powered it up for a few minutes, and then reboxed it without truly testing it.

Broke after 5 months of use
It was a good Chromebook while it lasted but the keyboard completely stopped working after only 5 months of use plus if the Chromebook dies it takes forever to get it to turn back on even if it is plugged into the charger.

Probably don't purchase. Not great for college.
I have a Google phone that works great, so I figured the laptop would too - nope. I got this laptop because I wanted a flexible, touch-screen computer that I could use for academic and personal use. I specifically wanted it for Adobe Illustrator. I used the software on this computer for the first couple months. All of a sudden, I couldn't find Illustrator on my laptop anymore --? I knew I didn't delete it. Turns out, apparently the laptop became incompatible with the software and the app had automatically been deleted. It's basically like a glorified chromebook. Spend the same amount or more on a better laptop. After returning the Pixelbook, I got an HP Spectre and absolutely love it. After having the Pixelbook, I will never stray from HP again.

POOR CONDITION! Bad performance. NOT recommended.
The laptop I received included all the information that the previous buyer loaded. The company did not even bother to delete everything before sending it to me. The laptop is far from its description on the website: Poor condition. Shut off unexpectedly. slow. The description also indicates that return is free. IT IS NOT (I am a prime member). They require you to pay for shipping anyway. The same issues with the 2nd laptop this company sent me.

The device is fine, no power cord and no path for support to replace it.
It would be fun and a good read for everyone if I posted the whole chat dialog you would all get a hoot out of it. TLDR, it seems that the only option is to return the whole thing, they have no way to just send me the cable.

The laptop flashed an error when I opened the lid. I skipped the error without reading and it allowed me to login. I thought nothing of it till the error flashed (screenshot attached) again after a few days (just a day before) the return window closed. However, I am very disappointed that I wasted my time on a faulty product. But for the error popping on for a second time by chance, I wouldn't have been able to return within the window.
