First of all, I never leave reviews for anything. If I like it I buy it again. I was searching for a new product for my Caucasian fine type 3A to 3B hair. My hair has sometimes been described as lambs wool. Fine and fuzzy. In the past I have had to use 3 to 4 different products to get decent looking curl and eliminate frizz only to have it look like garbage at the end of the day. I came across the Aunt Jackie's Curls and Coils Curl La La Defining Curl Custard. The price was right and let me tell you, this is a game changer for me! I thought it may be too heavy for my hair, but nope! I can't believe how good this product is on my hair. I wash, condition and then apply this my damp hair and comb through. I then scrunch and air dry. My hair does not dry crunchy. I do not have to use any other products at all, just this. It make my curls look freaking fantastic and it is soft. I also have volume! I have not had volume for ages. I don't want to go to bed at night because my hair still looks soooo good! I recommended this to my daughter who has the same curl type, only all one length. She used it one day and texted me 'this hair stuff is like "magic". Yep, Magic. My co-worker was amazed at how good my hair looked and she, being a curly girls also, ordered some right then and there. Aunt Jackie, if I could give this product 100 stars, I would!

Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La has been a game-changer for my curly hair routine. It defines my curls beautifully without leaving them crunchy or weighed down. The shea butter and olive oil infusion keeps my hair moisturized and adds a healthy shine. I love that it doesn’t cause any flaking or buildup, even with daily use. The pleasant scent is a bonus! This smells amazing and leaves your hair looking gorgeous. I apply a small amount because I have very thin wavy hair. It hydrates, shines and makes the hair look amazing.

So far I like the feeling of my hair after it dries. It feels soft and light. The product has a pleasant scent too. However, you will get better results using it by itself.One thing I do not like about the product is that can't be combined with other hair products like a leave in or any oils. No even with the " curl boss Gelee" from the same brand. I mixed both in my hair and it turned into white chunks, similar to wet toilet paper. I was able to brush it off and rinse off my hair.I am still in the experimental phase using the product. I hope I can make it work for me.

I heard good things about this product and had to test it out myself. I’m brought Aunt Jackie’s in the past have some go to products. I have 4C hair and while it left my hair feeling soft it did not define my curls as all. It only helped with moisturizing and seemed more in the heavy side, causing build up. I’ll finish what I have left but don’t see myself buying this again. The price was fair, I just may not be the target audience

It’s not my first time using this product. As a natural girly it’s a staple product. I bought it however to curl my wigs and it gets the job done. A little goes a long way. It can be used with type 4 hair as well as curly wigs. It has a strong scent if u can get past that. It curls my hair and I’m happy with that.
