Just what I needed
Exactly what I needed. Right now in my kayak all I’m running is the fish finder. However I’m set up now when I get the yak power system to just plug and play. For those complaining the connections are backwards. They are supposed to be. As this is the “female end”. But if you look at other connectors that go to devices (male ends) the positive will connect to this plug perfectly.

Spade connectors did not fit battery terminals
Although I had to change out spade connectors to bigger size for my Dakota Lithium 12V 20 Ah terminals the Yak wiring products do simplify the kayak wiring installation process. I would recommend this product.

great way connect a power supply to other electronics, easily.
Makes it super easy to connect to whatever batter system you have with a compact fuse. I have it running on a little 12 volt to a Yak-Power port system that powers my fish finder on my Jackson Big Rig. Great quality easy to install. I am not an electrician and it tends to scare me a little but this was easy although it does not come with instructions it is very simple to figure out. Just make sure you buy the rest of the line as this will only connect to a battery and then you have to match the same connector with the battery terminal to connect it to anything else.

Solved a long time problem
In the past, I used terminals on the wire leads to my kayak depth/fish finder battery that either rusted, or the lead wire broke every time I pushed them onto the terminals. with this I no longer have to push terminals on and off. Works great.

Reversed polarity
Pay attention to the red and black wires. As the picture shows, if you plug this extension into the tack attack battery box, the polarity will be reversed. I had to cut the wires and switch them on mine. Otherwise, it's a nice extension. I give it 3 stars because of the hassle.

easy install and works well
Installed this on my Hobie Outback and it was very well made and looks like it will last a long time.
