Venture 1507 Black Printed UV Resistant Line Set Tape (2" x 60yd)

Taped line sets to prevent leaking on a mini split system.

I thought this would be thicker and more opaque. I was expecting something like duct tape. This is more like tinted packing tape. You can see through it, so you would definitely need to layer it on to get UV blockage.

Had a hard time finding this locally. Decent value, even with the shipping cost. Would have preferred the white version, but this will (and does) work fine.

very thin, good for unique applications in sunlight

This tape was used to wrap the insulation on my A/C compressor lineset. After a little more than a year in the hot Southern California sun, the tape has become thin and brittle as shown in the photos. I'm looking for better options to re-tape the lineset.

Good tape, but not super easy to work with.

Worked how it should.
