I have been using this wool pressing mat for the last couple weeks for all of my pressing. I had heard wonders about wool mats and how much faster and cleaner things ironed, but I was content with my tabletop ironing board for the most part. I never liked pulling out my full size board, as it was a hassle, and I liked the convenience of the smaller option. Well a couple weeks ago, I upgraded my sewing station to a desk with a pull out “L” that is roughly 22” x 15”. I initially knew that I would use this extension for holding the weight of my quilts and giving me more workspace in general. Then I found this mat, and for the size and price, I just had to give it a shot. When I pull out the desk extension, I set this mat on there, and I can do a quick press in the middle of my project without having to haul out and set up any size ironing board. And I have never seen fabric press so quickly and perfectly. When I’m done pressing, I sometimes like to set my hands down flat on the mat and feel all of the warmth radiate back into my hands - it’s like a warm hug. The included notions bag is cute, and I don’t penalize the product for this, but the notions are definitely of lower quality than the mat, and I probably would not use them personally, but they do make a nice backup set just in case. TL;DR - This mat is fantastic, it fits in small spaces, is super convenient, and best of all, it gets perfect presses every time!

I bought this to use as a heat press mat cause it’s bigger than the cricut ones. This is literally the perfect size for t-shirts and sweatshirts and it’s a much better price. I want to buy an even bigger one that’s exactly like it for heat pressing larger things like tablecloths. Honestly I would even prefer this over a typical ironing board for my everyday clothes.

Works great, no problems. Great ironing mat. I have room for this, otherwise a small ironing board and that was a pain.

Fits the area intended very well. No smell and lays pretty flat after being rolled up for delivery.

I needed several sizes of pressing pads for different types of projects. I decided to give this one a go and just cut it to the sizes I need. It works fabulously. I easily cut the mat with a crafting blade into the sizes needed. I even have some left over that I’m going to gift to a few people. Everything I’ve pressed on this mat has turned out great. My only complaint, but it isn’t specific to just this brand, it’s all wool mats, is that it sheds just the slightest bit. It’s negligible and honestly most wouldn’t notice, but I did. I ended up making a woven cotton sleeve for it, so now, no more shedding. Simple simple. If you need a large pressing mat or several smaller ones and are willing to do a little cutting, then I highly recommend this.

Stains easily.. I have noticed water stains from the steam iron… disappointing..
