I need a sppedring for a b10 head and ocf snoot. what do you recommend?

A Profoto speed ring (all the heads are the same size, even the A 1 or A10 with an adapter). The snoot goes on the end of the light, has nothing to do with the speed ring.

What is the difference between this and the RFI speedring?

I believe The OCF speeding only fits products made for B1 and B2 accessories while the RFI works for the long list of soft boxes etc... The OCF are the specific products that are lighter weight and a little more affordable. In other words the OCF will not work with most of the PROFOTO legacy products I hope that helps. In my view is profoto is very overpriced but not really a lot of alternatives at this point. Their OCF accessories in my opinion are just decent quality but $60 for a snoot just made of plastic??? It's what you sign up for when you want the profoto lights that work extremely well.

Just to make sure I am clear to use any Profoto Light modifiers with the B2 heads you must also buy a speedring?

The hard reflectors such as a magnum, zoom or soft light reflector do not need a speed ring for use with a B2 head. Soft boxes and Octa Boxes would require the use of a speed ring with the B2 head. Hope that helps!

Does this work with the Profoto Octa 5ft softbox?

It depends the OCF RING is for profoto OCF light modifiers and the RFI RING is for RFI light modifiers. So you have to know which line of light modifiers you're considering OCF OR RFI. The RFI are a much better build and work best with B1's and D1's . The OCF are made for the B2's because of size weight and build. Hope this helps. Profoto for pros.

Works for what it’s meant for, it is profoto so it’s going to be great, although I rented one of these in the past and it was broken. So, I’m assuming this will crack at one point.

Great quality ring!

This ring is made of a high quality plastic. It is sturdy and well built as I assumed coming from Profoto.

Works very well once figure out to mount on modifier. A little too expensive as all Profoto products are, but I keep buying because I know they will last.

I bought one ring for each reflector instead of one ring for all three reflector because I often use all three reflectors in a shoot more often than worry about carrying reflectors folded like on airplane. I am more of car ride to location than airplane. So, it made sense to buy three rings.

Profoto Off-Camera Flash Speedring

Profoto always makes a dependable (pricey) product-worth it. Arrived in 2 days. This is compatible with my B1 and B2. It is more rubberized than the first one I bought for my B1 (rubber+metal). It is color coded to make it easier to assemble.

ring rubber and clasp so flimsy I put it one once and it's bent. Tried to put this on the 5ft octa and it's 100% the most difficult piece to put tother. Alien bees fold up in seconds because the speed ring is attached to the softbox.Geez.
