The bowls are as advertised, they have already been tested for what I intended to use them for (freezer gumbo servings and defrost directly in the microwave). Good quality glassware and plastic lids fit perfectly with a solid seal.

I ordered the multi-sized glass container, and they are so solid and beautiful. I like them so much I bought this set -- BUT I was bummed to find out that the lids do not have the vented opening on the top. If I could buy the vented lids that have the option to snap close separately, I would probably do that. So that's why the 4 stars, rather than the 5 stars. Very happy to get away from plastics.

We have used plastic containers for years and are trying to shift to glass for health, food prep, serving & storage options. This eight piece set is a great option for the price and is the perfect “leftover lunch size” for our household. We typically buy the “disposable” square containers from our local retail store. As I unpack these I loved the “bonus” measuring cups and two sets of colorful measuring spoons. The glass does seem a bit more brittle then, say, Pyrex brand, but certainly adequate for the purpose being used for. Care should be taken anytime you’re using glass containers as they do tend to chip or break if you’re rough with them. A little common sense goes a long way. I decided to do a test to see how much water, in ounces, each of the containers actually held as these appeared to be smaller than our old plastic square containers. Surprisingly, both containers held exactly 24 ounces of water, and that was filled to the brim. I’m not sure how the manufacturers determine the 30 ounce size, but these containers can only hold a maximum of 24 ounces of liquid...and that would make it impossible to secure the lid without overflow. A reviewer mentioned these were heavy so I included a weight of the container with the lid, I don’t think they’re that bad. They fit perfectly in a hot logic mini so you can heat your leftovers without even using the break-room germ-infested microwave. I did snap the lid down with the water in the container and it was leakproof. Our dishwasher does not have a heating element so I do wash the lids in the dishwasher on occasion. That being said, no plastic fairs well over time when washed regularly in the dishwasher due to the high heat. I would definitely recommend handwashing the lids whenever possible and only using the dishwasher top rack in a pinch.

El tamaño es perfecto.... además la comida se antoja en el refrigerador porque puedes ver lo que contiene cada uno y los olores no se fijan en su Interior, además viene con una cucharas de medición y tazas de medición muy lindas
