Great soft hand wool yarn…
Beautiful yarn, knitted up well and has a soft hand to the fabric it makes Will buy again!

Love!
This is the first time I’ve used this yarn, and overall, I’m really enjoying it! Socks are coming out perfectly! The yarn has a beautiful color and soft texture. My only issue was initially opening it. I’ve never used yarn that came twisted up, so with my inexperience and trying to do this on an airplane… I ended up having to spend quite a while untangling and winding it up. Other than that, I would highly recommend! I’m halfway through my second sock and there is still a lot of yarn left, might be able to squeeze out another ankle length pair!

Lovely, looking forward to working with it
The Inverness tonal is deeply saturated in color, quite lofty and springy for fingering and just downright gorgeous. Made of 4-ply 80%merino wool and 20% poly, it is a fingering weight that should be great for socks. The yarn is super soft and doesn’t unwrap itself easily, as I found when doing a spit splice when dividing the skein into matching 50-gram balls. I didn’t see any knots or thin spots as I wound the skein and there was good consistency of the handpainted colorway throughout. The apparent quality compares well with any other out there in my ooinion.

Pretty and soft
I'm sensitive to itchy wool but this one is so soft.

Not pearlescent nor white. Nice texture quality.
Silly me ordered this "Pearlescent white" thinking it was more of a pearl like color since that's it's name. However by "Pearlescent white" what they mean is is just dingy white/light gray. I didn't expect it to be necessarily shiny exactly, but I did expect it to be more complex of a soft white with very light pink, soft yellow and light blue/gray tones as that's what "Pearlescent" typically would have. It had none of those colors. Not even close. It's just a dingy gray It's not a terrible color but it must definitely is NOT in any way a "pearlescent white". I don't know if it will work for the socks project I have intened it for as of just yet. It may very likely be going back. The quality of the yarn itself feels very strong and soft. It will certainly make some nice warm light weight socks. A nice fingering sock weight size that looks and feels like it will glide on the needles nicely without to many snags or splits. The amount you get for the money is decent. It feels like it will crochet/ knit up and hold shape nicely. All in all a nice wool blend yarn but -1 star as it is definitely not the color it is described as.

The quality I expect
I'm a big fan of Knit Picks yarn. The price is excellent for a large variety of natural fiber yarns. These people are why my stash is getting out of hand. I've found when I just want one skein it is easier to order through Amazon than the website. This is a tonal yarn that I bought to use for white and gray including gnome beards. I'm very happy with the colorway.

Self striping
This yarn feels lovely and is a great weight, but I feel like the swatch online is a bit deceiving for for how it knits up. This is VERY stripey. If that is what you want it is super. If you don't want it like that, this is not a great yarn for you.

Leider ist das Garn zwischendrin sehr verfilzt. War beim Wickeln nicht so gut, zumal diese Wollabschnitte nicht verzwirnt sind. Kaufe ich nicht mehr
