Feels pretty solid and held a 10-lb thrashing silver salmon when I pulled it from the net. I use it on my kayak and added a carabiner to the loop. Would buy again.

I have used this stringer on my kayak the last 3 weekends and I really like it so far. The strap is very well stitched and the buckle seems quite strong (I was a little leary of dragging a stringer of fish next to my yak with that buckle, but it is holding up well...have hauled up to 3 decent sized tog on it at once). The one thing I would point out is it does not have a pointed tip like some other stringers like this do...I sharpened mine with an angle grinder and it actually went right through the lower jaw and the upper lip with ease one time (it can be a little tricky to go through bottom jaw and out through mouth of tog with it tethered beside on the grab handle of my outback).
