Rimmel Fix And Perfect Pro Primer, Foundation Primer, 1 Fluid Ounce

This primer works as good as or better than some high end, very expensive primers I have used. A little bit goes a long way with this. It is a bit thick so you only need to use a little bit to create a thin layer on your face. It doesn't have a scent to it (as far as I can tell). It goes on very nicely, really smooth. It fills in acne scars, fine lines, basically it creates a smooth canvas for you to work with. I use it on days I don't wear foundation as well because it makes you skin look very healthy, it gives it a nice "glow" so to speak. When I do use it with foundation, my foundation stays in place all day and goes on very smoothly. It keeps your foundation from creasing into fine lines (I have the start of crows feet around my eyes- yikes!) and acne scars/pits (and I have some big ones, don't pick at your pimples people!).

This really does make a big difference. It leaves my skin looking much more smooth and healthy. Highly recommended by this 80-year-old cat lady!

I'm giving it 4 stars because it actually works GREAT. However, I didn't realize it was tinted when I purchased it. It's supposed to be translucent when it dries, and it almost is, but it does have a slight orange tint (it could be my skin, I'm particularly pale and pasty), and even underneath my foundation, you could see the tint. I gave it to my sister, and it works a lot better for her, because she's darker skinned than I am, so you can't really see it. Besides the color, it makes the skin feel so soft, and so smooth, it's almost worth the orange color it makes my face. I tested it out on the back of my hand, where I have a little scar, and you couldn't even see the scar after I put it on. Granted, the scar is small and not very deep, but it blended into the crack and smoothed it over so nicely, I was highly impressed. If you're not ghostly pale, like me, I'd recommend it. I'm giving it 4 stars because it's actually a great product, just not quite translucent for me.

As a professional makeup artist I have tried many different brands of primer from the very expensive to the inexpensive ones. I have fallen in love with this Rimmel Fix and Perfect Pro Primer. It goes on nicely and absorbs into the skin quickly. It does everything a face primer should. It evens out skin texture and creates a smooth surface for makeup to be applied over. It helps the makeup to last longer and stay matte throughout the day and leaves the skin feeling smooth.

I have been using this primer for a long time. It is much, much less expensive ($7.47) than many of the primers out there and it does a great job. Terrific value. Applies easily over other products such as serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and foundation just glides on after applying. I am very pleased to find this product now on Amazon because it has become difficult/unavailable to find it at drugstores or at Target.

This is completely personal taste. I didn't like this primer. It feels right just as all primers do. It goes on just fine. I got it from a YT video recommendation. I didn't care for it, so I gave it to my mom and she likes it fine. I am just not a fan of these clear primers. I like a more creamy one under my foundation, but nothing at all wrong with the product; and no irritation or anything.

Best face creme I have ever used! Does tend to fill in small wrinkles and smooths over rough skin surface. No fragrance so doesn't fight with other of your cosmetics. I use under the first layer of creme, but you can use in any layer you want. By the end of the day, your skin still has a texture of porcelain to it.

This is my all time favorite primer. I've tried others but this it it for me. And I can't find it in stores here. Happy to see it on Amazon. It leaves the perfect finish for foundation. It doesn't make me oily or dried out. And I don't break out from it.

I’ve tried many primers over the years and I really like this one. I don’t wear heavy makeup, so I didn’t want to pay too much, and the price of this primer is great. The matte finish helps control the oiliness of my skin, and my foundation doesn’t crack when I use it. Definitely a great product.
