Best Vitamins for Kids and Worth the Money
One year ago I started looking a multivitamin for my kids. My daughter was a very picky eater and I needed to suppliment for the nutrition she was lacking while working to improve her eating habits. The cost of this vitamin at first seemed like a lot to me, but if you take the time to compare Intrakids to everything else, it really does provide a full sprectrum. There are a few points I wanted to share with other parents looking for a multivitamin. The whole point of giving your kids multivitamins is to make them healthier. So you should avoid multivitamins that contain any kind of food colorings (you can research effects of food colorings if you do not know why), and sugars. Next, you need to figure out what vitamins/nutrients you need supplimented for your child. For me, my daughter did not eat meat or really any vegetables at all. It was like she was on a white diet- rice, bread, yogurt. I read that if people are deficient in certain vitamins or nutrients, food actually tastes different to them and when you correct the deficiency, they are willing to try foods. I also believe that kids development in the first 5 years of their life is instrumental to the rest of their lives, so I was willing to spend the money to be sure they are not deficient in anything. That is what Intrakids can offer and its organic with trace minerals which was important to me also. So if your child eats good, and you just need a little suppliment to make sure, this may not be what you are looking for or willing to spend. For me, it was and it has made a difference in my kids. We call it super juice and tell the kids how it makes them super strong and super fast, they love that. The taste is a little concentrated, but contrary to what I read in other reviews, I think they did an amazing job on the taste. People need to be realistic in their expectations. You can't say you want the best kids multivitamin including trace minerals, amino acids, and digestive enzymes (btw, what other kids multivitamin include those), you want you kid to like the taste (and mind you, some kids don't even like the taste of water, so maybe you kind of just have to make you kid eat/drink something they don't like the taste of), and not be expessive. Those just aren't realistic expectations. Luckily my kids like the taste, so taking the vitimins have never been a problem. But if parents did have a problems, I'd say either make a soothie for them and add it in, or just tell them this is something they HAVE to take to make them healthy, its this or a plate of veggies and maybe have a plate of veggies next to it. My daughter is definitely healthier, we got blood tests to make sure. She IS willing to try new foods and i have peace of mind that her nutrition is not negatively effecting her development. I have 2 kids on these vitamins and we go through a bottle a month. If I follow the serving size, I'd go through a bottle a day. Which for the first 2 months, we actually did, and then because I thought their diets improved and to save money we cut the serving size in half. I think this is a great product, and am very grateful for the help it has given my kids and me as their mother.

An awesome very complete vitamin and supplement formulation for children!
I am so happy to have found this. It saves a lot of time and money having all the vitamins and supplements you would want to give your child in one easy and convenient product. No more buying everything separate and then measuring out all the different supplements and vitamins in the morning for my two young boys. I am glad it has the zinc included in this as well since this seems to be helping my 4 year olds immune system. He hasn’t caught anything from school since starting this 6 weeks ago. It may be a coincidence or due to the effectiveness of this product but I will update once I have had my children on this longer. I would be careful however for children on medications since there is herbal supplements included in this formulation which could cause bad side effects or reactions with certain meds so I would make sure to have a doctor or pharmacist look at the entire ingredient list if your child is on any meds!!! My children are thankfully only taking this vitamin/supplement formulation so I have not had to worry about any potential interactions but if they are ever prescribed anything I will need to check with the doctor before giving this along with any meds. In regards to the taste, I add it to organic berry grape juice and that hides the taste. My 4 year old is autistic and has extreme food adversions but happily drinks his juice in the am with this vitamin added in. You just have to use a juice that has a stronger flavor like a red grape juice, a white grape juice wouldn’t work so well I’m thinking. I also tasted the juice after adding this when I first got it and I didn’t notice any difference so that would be my recommendation to any parents with picky kids and are nervous of spending so much money and not being able to get your child to take it. If they enjoy get grape juice then use that and you shouldn’t have any problems. I just reordered another bottle so my first bottle lasted approximately 6 weeks for my two kids; one gets one serving the other gets half a serving according to recommendations for age dosage. Overall a very thorough and complete vitamin and supplement for children at a price cheaper then what you would spend to purchase all the ingredients separately. I am happy to have found this product and plan to keep this as my kids complete daily vitamin supplement. Hope this review helps those out there debating whether to pay the higher price or not. I believe it is worth the price especially if it keeps my 4 year old from catching everything from preschool like he did last year.

Expensive but worth it
While it is on the pricey side getting it from Amazon is so far the best route, as price and delivery time are concerned. It's a 1 stop shop as a multivitamin for kids and the ingredients are not full of nonsense.

Great for the kids
A lot of benefits in one bottle for the kids. I tried it, and couldn't stomach this flavor. But my kids love it, so oh well. Good immune system builder.

Finally a vitamin that actually works!
⸻ I rarely write reviews, but this vitamin definitely deserves one. My kiddo isn’t crazy about the taste, but I can’t argue with the results. Before starting these, he was getting sick what felt like every other week - constant runny noses, colds, you name it. Since taking them regularly, he hasn’t been sick in months! I’ve noticed he has more energy and seems overall healthier. I’m honestly so relieved to have finally found something that actually works. Totally worth it and will definitely keep buying!

I like these vitamins
I’ve been giving g this to my three kids for months and they don’t complain about drinking it. We were doing the gummy vitamins but those are really trash and this stuff has lots of good stuff in it. I was worried they wouldn’t want this after taking gummy vitamins but it has a good taste and they’ve never complained.

May be a great vitamin but…..
First of all this product will expire before my child will even be able to finish it. That is unacceptable and disappointing for the $70 bottle I purchased and have no option to return. Aside from this the product tastes horrible, and my kid can stomach most things. I’m not sure if this is due to the quickly approaching expiration date or this is typical of this multi. Either way….buyer beware!!
