The perfect solution when you can't use screws.
I used the tape to hold up an all metal magnetic knife holder. It’s on the side of a cupboard where the cheap wood isn’t a quarter of an inch thick so I couldn’t use the included screws. I found the tape to be very strong with little chance of allowing the knife holder to fall. I put the tape on the back of the knife holder first before sticking it to the wall. As with all of these rubbery stretchy double sided tapes, it’s kind of tedious to remove the tapes backing so you always end up destroying the end of the tape. I simply left a little extra tape hanging over the edge of the knife holder. This allowed me to remove the backing without destroying the part of the tape attached to the knife holder. I then just cut off that little extra piece of tape leaving only undamaged tape on the knife holder. The tape can be removed from a surface fairly easy simply by rolling it, but it's so strong that some surfaces may be damaged such as a painted surface, veneer or textured walls. The instructions clearly state that the item being hung should not be more than 3/4 of an inch in depth. So be aware that items with more depth stand a more likely chance of falling down as it is more difficult for the tape to hold because of the weight distribution. Kind of like how it's more difficult to pickup and carry a long 2×4 by just picking it up from one end. It's physics.Used as directed this tape performs as it is supposed to. It was the perfect solution for me.

For my use case, the best I've ever used
SUPERB for my intended purpose (horizontal affixing of peripherals and stationary gadgets to desks and shelves)There are better double-sided tapes out there, but for my use case this is by far the best. This is excellent for sticking things to desks and nightstands, for two reasons, and with one caveat.-This is NOT a foam-adhesive tape. This means no residue when you remove it.-It sticks very well, but you must let it sit (in some cases weight/clamp the item you are affixing)I don't like certain stuff shifting around my desk. I use this to affix a QI dock to my nightstand, a HOTAS, phone dock, mousepad and fingerprint scanner to my computer desk, a battery charger to a bookshelf, and some other similar horizontal-mount use cases. There is nothing better for these uses. When I moved to my new place, I had to unstick stuff. The good 3M doublestick foam tape left residue, and the 3m exterior grey tape was tricky to detach. This provides just enough stickage for things I don't want to budge on my desk, sticks to more diverse (in my case: laminated presswood desk surfaces and metal, powdercoated desktop keyboard tray) and doesn't leave anything to scrape off when I pull it for a move. It holds perfectly for daily usage, but will come off without too much drama if you need it to.This is admittedly a niche use. But it does this niche use better than *anything* else. If you wanna stick stuff to your desk, this is what you want. The one caveat with it is that it takes some time to develop a good stick to most materials. In the generally horizontal uses I have for it, that's fine. This means it might not be ideal for walls and the like, so bear that in mind. But if you want a low-drama and effective means of stiking stuff to horizontal surfaces, this is your guy.

Works well but
It sticks very well however removing the tape liner is a serious challenge.

It holds well, but lets go without too much trouble.
I was using it on a brick wall and it held great. Plus when I decided to move the item a few days later, it only hung on to a few particles of brick. Also held the plastic casing of the item very well too.

Double face tape
Very small roll of tape, already misplaced it, had to order new roll. However, it was very manageable and easy to remove outside film.

stellar results just like all other 'gorilla glue' products i've used
i had recently ordered a couple 'buzzers' that came with mounting tape already attached. problem with that was that awful cheap white stuff that doesn't stick well at all and is awful to remove bit by bit. a few days after mounting of course they started to fall off the wall.i have used gorilla brand products for many years. i have never had a bad experience to date. consequently i didn't look for anything but gorilla brand mounting tape. it works just a good as expected! on glass or wood, even with high temps it stays put. after if you need to remove it just grab a corner and it peels off in one easy section. i removed the nasty white sticky tape and put this on. the buzzers have held firm since. i also have used it to hold a power cable in place i have mounted where the front windshield meets the body frame. there too great success.gorilla tape is the best just my two cents.

Good item. Works for the purpose needed.
This gorilla tape is really sticky and works great. It was a little hard to get both sides of the cover off, but once I figured it out, it was easy to use. Seems to hold well and works for the purpose. I needed it to.
