Bahco325 Professional Hacksaw with Ergo Handle, 300mm (12in), Silver

A project came up where I wanted my cuts to be as clean and perfect as possible so I decided to replace my cheap hacksaw. I'm sure there are other great saws out there, possibly for slightly less $$, but I got this after doing some online research. I like that's it's a bit heavy, makes it feels very stable and comfortable in the hand. Blade tension and all controls are easy to operate. So far I've cut threaded CroMo tubing, diecast metal ,pipe and thin aluminum all with consistently great results. I did replace the included blade with a 32 tpi one. I don't feel like it was too much money to spend on a tool that I'll probably use for the next 20+ years.

The high tension that this saw allows makes cuts much easier, quicker, and faster than the older saws that could not keep much tension on the blade. The saw is well made and comfortable to use.

I cannot believe the difference between this saw and the previous hacksaws in handling, cutting and how it feels in the hands. Excellent all the way around! Wish I had ordered it sooner!

Excellent ergonomy and the system to change the blade it's fast and very easy, the only complaint i have it's that it's a little bit too heavy, but very pleased with the product in general.

I love the hacksaw! I helps cut straight And it's very durable. I do wish you can tighten the blade a little more. But I have no complaints!

I am an Electrician of over 20 years and have used several brands of hacksaws. Beside Lenox brand Hacksaws this Bahco brand is the best I have ever used. It feels good in my hand and is perfectly balanced. If you have to hand saw EMT all day for weeks this hacksaw is the best to use I think.

I needed a metal saw for removing a rusting trampoline base and this hacksaw did the trick! I’d recommend this product to friends and family in need of a medium heavy duty job for metal cutting.

Diese Handbügelsäge liegt, dank der gummierten Griffstücke, perfekt in der Hand. Auch das Schnellspannsystem zum Sägeblattwechsel finde ich praktisch und überzeugend.Ich arbeite häufig mit Handbügelsägen und kann dieses Modell als das Beste bezeichnen mit welchem ich bisweilen gearbeitet habe. Auch wenn sie kein preisliches Schnäppchen ist, so beurteile ich dennoch, wegen der hohen Qualität, das Preis- / Leisungsverhältnis als sehr gut.Einzige Schwachstelle: die beiden Zapfen, zwischen welche das Sägeblatt gespannt wird, sind aus Aluminium. Ich weiß nicht, ob diese dauerhaft der Belastung stand halten, oder bei stärkerer Spannung zum Bruch tendieren. Das wird sich erst im Laufe des weiteren Gebrauchs herausstellen.

well built hack saw. Not sure it’s worth the price but I don’t regret my purchase.

I've got probably about a dozen hacksaws dotted around different tool boxes and sheds and can honestly say that if I'd bought this one first then I'd only have the one and I'd go to retrieve it from whatever toolbox or shed it was in.Is so much better to use than all of my other hacksaws, it's comfortable and you can get easily generated a lot of cutting force with it. The supplied blade is identical to the ones I always buy anyway and it's excellent. The saw is heavier than I expected, but that's not a bad thing at all (unless you're going to be installing a load of uni-strut above your head and plan using this to cut it in-situ!).The blade tensioning and release is rapid and simple. There is no facility for onboard blade storage which is the selling point for Stanley's premium offering, so if you're looking for something to pick holes in then that's logically the only think you'd find even though I imagine having a spare blade rattling around in the saw would get a tad annoying after even 5 saw strokes!I love it.
