I bought these as an alternative to a room divider so I didn't assemble them into cubes. I decided on my own configuration. I did 7x7 with some supports on sides and middle. Much less expensive than room dividers and these can either be painted or left semi opaque to keep natural light while providing some separation.They assembled easily. Embrace the click and use the provided mallet. Gaps increase with mistakes and make it harder to put together. Do one layer at a time, moving horizontally.The packaging was streamline and not too heavy.These ha e improved with time. I have ones from decades ago and they never stop being useful. They are easy to haul and put back together.

I bought the brown design and was hoping the design was not too much, but it's perfect. I have brown and black decor and it goes well with it. The quality is pretty good, stands on carpet nicely without wobble, but I only have 2 levels x 4 cubes in each level. The size is perfect, the 11" cube is great for storing things. This works well for our big family with little room to put things as in Florida we did not have basements. The hammer it comes with is great, one usually gets this light weight wood hammer, I am keeping this one for future use.

Overall, I am very happy with the cubbies. It is perfect for closet organization and seems sturdy. However, this is extremely difficult to put together. The plastic connectors do not go on easily, it takes a lot of strength and finagling, even with the included mallet, to get them to snap on to the dividers. I couldn’t do it all in one sitting, it was frustrating and physically taxing. Way more difficult than a regular flat pack furniture assembly. I personally wish I just bought a cheap wooden cubby shelf. BUT, and this is a big but, there are some things that give this system the edge if you are willing to deal with the assembly:1. The customization options are endless. You can choose exactly how to configure the cubbies, you are not locked in to a square.2. It is very lightweight, would be great for a dorm room. I can pick it up with one hand, or you could break it down and pack it in a small box. Moving would be super easy.3. Depending on how you configure this, you can break it into multiple shelving units, so great value for money.4. You can seamlessly expand it by buying additional sets.

I've had storage solutions that are set up similarily before, but this one is much more sturdy, and assembled more easily. I also like the look. I used for yarn storage - i wouldn't necessarily recommend for heavy books, but for clothing, fabric, yarn etc it works great.I also considered leaving out some of the back panels and adding on to the top - but that would make it less sturdy, and there ultimately weren't enough of the black connectors to do so. I do appreciate that it came with a nice little mallet to help assemble. I didn't use it, but am keeping because it's decent quality.

This set is easy to assemble, and you can configure the cubes any way you want. They are sturdy enough to hold my sewing materials and notions. I think they are a good value and would recommend for lightweight items.

Love it. Have it in my sewing room. The cubes are perfect for sewing items. It was easy to put together and is sturdy. Like it so much I bought a second one that is going to be used for my fabric stash.

My wife purchased this to store and organize her yarn. It's fairly easy to assemble and surprisingly sturdy for lightweight items. I would not use it for books or anything with much weight.I would have given a better review but 4 of the the panels were split where the plastic wraps around the wire frame right out of the box. Dissatisfied with a company that would allow the product to be shipped out this way!I installed the split panels vertically so the won't have any weight on them.Other than that, it's a decent shelf for the money and lightweight use.Unless the company sends me some replacement panels, I would not purchase again.

These are great. Used them in my laundry room and in my closet to organize sheet sets. Will buy more when needed.
