Works as well as a prescription medicine on my skin.
Before trying the Glymed Serious Action No. 5 medication I had been using a prescription clindamycin 1%/benzoyl peroxide gel 5% gel due to cystic acne. Unfortunately the clindmycin/peroxide medicine seemed to stop working as time went on, along with causing my partner's skin to burn if they came in contact with the medicine. After doing research I took the plunge and ordered the Glymed, I have to say I am really happy with the results! One problem I had with previous topical cream was that it would loose it potency as time went on and not work as well; with the Glymed every day worked as well as the day before with my first bottle. Roughly it kept my acne in check so long as I was following my normal regime of skin care just as well as the prescription cream had. When I ordered my second bottle I was a bit worried though, my first one had an expiration date of July 2017 on it but since I used it up in April I was not worried, the bottle had lasted about 3 months for me with nightly use. My second bottle also came with a July 2017 expiration date on it, which troubled me since a bottle lasted me about three months and that would put it in July. Overall I have to say the first bottle worked better then the second, both worked for the most part at keeping my acne in check minus a spot or two due to stress/hormones. I would have to say that the second bottle did start working less as the date got closer to July which is why I am hesitant to order again as I am afraid of getting a box from that same batch and having to send it back. To sum it up the cream worked really well, there was an improvement in my skin tone, and it seemed to even help fade out some of my scars, there was drying which is to be expected with peroxide products, I am happy with my experience overall.

Acne Since age 13
I've struggled with acne for years. One day after another one of my many frustrating Dermatology appointments I decided to stop throwing money away and figure out how to get rid of my acne once and for all. I found a spa that offered acne facials using Glymed products. I had no idea how my skin would react but I had tried so many other things that I figured it couldn't hurt to see what happens. After my first facial I immediately saw a difference. I am happy to say that today I am acne free besides the occasional pimple here and there during my cycle. I haven't had a facial in over 3 years and I no longer need to. I apply Glymed at night and in the morning like lotion. I love this stuff!!!

Just what I have been looking for!
I am always searching for a skincare product that will help reduce my acne scarring and I think I may have found it. I have suffered from acne since my early teens and I was always self conscious about it so I went to a dermatologist and he gave me a product similar to this and it worked but I ran out and decided that I might not need to have this type of medication anymore, but I was wrong. Once again the acne came back and I was at a lose. That is when I became looking into Korean skincare because it seemed more beneficial for me but I still was having bad breakouts, that is when I came upon this product. I figured what harm could it do and I saw the good reviews so I took a chance. I have been using this product along with Korean skincare and what a difference is there. I am now able to leave the house without a stitch of makeup and not feel self conscious. I had a woman come up to me and ask what foundation I was using because my skin looked like a doll and she was shocked when I said I wasn't wearing anything at all! The product is strong and it does take some getting used to the dryness but I use Pond's Dry Skin Moisturizer over top of it and it helps. This is something that I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

Great product
This has really helped my daughter with her acne. The first week or so her face got dry so I started using it every other day but after getting through that it's been amazing.

Works way better than expected, no bad smell
I have tried every acne medication both prescription and OTC and this works better than any of them. No burning, itching or redness, though you do need to be extra careful about using sun screen. I am having super fun perimenopausal acne and this makes it disappear.

New ingredients causing skin reactions
There are 3 ingredients that were removed and 3 added. This one has Diazolindinyl Urea, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben which caused a skin reaction when the previous formula was fine. It’s super frustrating to finally have something that doesn’t cause allergies and problems to then order the same item and can’t use it because the manufacturer changes the formula.

Not great
The no 10 is much better, this doesn’t do anything for my skin and creates an odd film that clogs my pores
