Excellent product! I purchased a small for my 5 year old daughter. It fits snug around her edges and most importantly her hair remains dry!

Got this cap for my 6 (size small) and 9 (size large) year olds. If it’s put on properly, most of there hair stays dry. Only issues are their edges still get wet and the front part slides down too far near eyes; they are constantly adjusting it while swimming. Overall, it’s a good product and works well.

I wear my hair in a natural poof and just pulled this swim cap over my head and down over my ears -- and my hair was absolutely dry when I took it off! I was nervous after reading some of the reviews (some saying there was no seal and filled up like a balloon), but it worked perfect for me. Unless you have long locks or "big hair," buy the children's size and not the extra large size, and the cap likely won't work if you have "flat" hair. The key is getting a good seal. And I have to admit that this means that the cap isn't particularly comfortable. It is very tight on the forehead and around the ears (be sure to cover your ears for a good seal so it doesn't leak). But I wore it for two hours swimming every day during a vacation, and being able to swim without a full routine every day for my hair was worth feeling like my head was being squeezed. I forgot it after a while. This cap has changed my life-- no more sending my husband and son to the pool without me because I don't want to spend three hours rehabilitating my Black hair! I love to swim, and I can do it again.

I'm an avid swimmer with natural hair, who where's various styles with added hair sometimes. The cap fit a bit tightly around the crown, so with me having to adjust, I'm not sure if I wore it correctly. But some water did seep through the sides and nape, but the body of hair stayed fairly dry. I love the space that's left for our BIG hair! I think it's a great concept and contribution and I definitely think it's a good purchase.

This product works well for my 9 year old who has braids. The braids fit in the cap and there was even a little room leftover from the braids. Just make sure the cap is secured or the water can seep under the cap. It only got the edges of the front of her head wet.
