This tape rocks for any outdoor exposed cable
I am currently using this tape of 2 different cable junctions that are exposed to the outside elements. It has seen 90-degree days, down pours, and now snow and cold. It is holding up great with both joints still looking like the day I installed them. Specifically, this was used for Ham radio feed lines.

It’s expensive tape, and worth it...
Like good gaffers tape, 33+ electrical tape and VHB tape, the linerless rubber stretch tape, it’s expensive. However we cannot live without it....

The product arrived without any physical damage or cosmetic imperfectoins.I wanted to use this kind of tape for the modification of the mechanical keyboard. It works as good as a masking tape, but gives better results in sound signature department (if you are more into low frequency/silent sound). Since it has nearly the same thickness as hotswappable sockets, it can create quite a pressure, if you use it with a thick foam on the bottom case. The non-sticky side of this tape is sticky and the grip is pretty much the same as a masking tape. You can pull it from the foam/other material easily, but sometimes, it can be challenging to do.It can be a bit hard to work with, if you want to cut some forms or holes in it. Artist's knife doesn't even make a scratch on it, so the only thing that works fine is a pair of sharp scissors. It doesn't have a rubber smell, even though it has rubbery components in it and it is quite sturdy.

Works with 12.7 kV
I have a transformer that develops 12.7 kV. With two layers of PVC tape, the secondary coil shorted through to the transformer core to the other end of the coil. With this 3M high-voltage tape, everything works great, no shorting.

When you need the best...
Don't mistake other 'No name' tape, Scotch 33 is the best~!~!~ I've been working with electrical and electronic equipment for well over 35 years, and an old timer told me when I was a new player in the business, "Use Scotch 33". I've been using it ever since. It's just the best electrical tape there is...
