ChiaoGoo Twist SS Complete Set, 5-inch (13 cm) [S][L], US 2-15 (2.75-10 mm)

These are the best! I've tried a few other interchangeable sets--including Knitters Pride, once my go-to *non*-interchangeable needle--and they do not compare. I used to hate Addi Turbos, i.e., any steel needle, due to their hardness and slipperness. But Chiaogoo interchangeables receive such glowing reviews here I thought I'd bite the bullet and try them out. Now I'm a convert! The tips are sharp and strong--perfect for those pesky m1Lpwise stitches--and the cables flexible. Joins are precision-made and extremely smooth. I haven't had a problem with the cables unscrewing and falling off the needles, causing dropped stitches. Very infrequently a cable will begin to loosen, but the large number of threads (at least 8 turns) gives me time to feel when my yarn is starting to catch a little while sliding over the join and then I simply tighten it up, no problem. I seem to have lost my previous dislike of steel needles, maybe because over time my knitting skills have improved and now I don't have a problem with the needles being too slippery. Also, the sharp tips provide much more control than Addi Turbo's blunt tips (Chiaogoo tips may even be sharper than Addi Rocket tips--would have to dig out a Rocket to compare). I do still prefer the feel of wood needles but these are fine. The convenience of having all needles and cables in a compact set rather than trying to store bunches of needles flopping around on various-length cables, or having to purchase yet another one when I can't find the one I know I have somewhere, is a no-brainer. I've also invested in the Chiaogoo 4" Twist set AND (most recently) the cute little "Blue Shorties" (just finished a sweater sleeve including ribbed cuff with them). Oh, and the storage cases are fabulous--well-made, sturdy zippers, easy-to-use. All together, well worth the price imo. My only beef is with amazon (or the Chaiogoo sellers): why can't you standardize your descriptions of the needles and include the product numbers in the titles? Would make searching, finding, and confirming I'm ordering the correct set so much easier!

I love these knitting needles. I used this brand in a few circular before and just couldn't go back to any other needle. I considered buying each needle as I needed them and, well, quickly realized that in the end, this was the real only way to go, price wise and time wise. The points on these are lace points that are very long and sharp (not harmful sharp, just pointy) so if you are used to not having to advance your needle that far in to get the "correct" gauge stitch then you may feel that you are slowed down a little. I, however, have not felt slowed down by this at all. The metal is clean and smooth, yet offers just enough grip so that your stitches aren't just slipping around or off your needle (this comes as a big plus when cabling). The join is smooth and I have not had any problem with advancing my stitches over it, a gentle push is all that is needed IF you really had to knit that tight. Never had a snag or pull from the join. The cable itself is my favorite thing! It is durable yet smooth, supple, with no to very little memory. I say very little only because when I used magic loop method I had a little memory bend but after completed, it fell back to normal. The ability to join the cables to make even longer length is a great plus. There is a hole just in case you are worried and need a rescue string but I have not had these come open or even loosen on me yet. I do believe that as long as you use the key that is given with the set, you will not have any problems with the screw in joining coming undone. Just use the key. They also sell extra keys, cables, and connectors so this set can really go a long way. This set is truly great, everything that came with it, makes it a MUST HAVE in value. If there were anything slightly negative to think of, I would venture to say that the case itself felt just a little lacking. But I paid for the needles, I can get over my issues with the case and even sew myself a new one, if and when, needed. Truly Love This Set!!! Doubt I may have to, or want, to buy another needle again!

Without question these needles rightly have a superb reputation for being the best.

5インチ針は実際には12.5cm程度です。意外と針もケースも小さく、小さめのノートぐらいのサイズ感です。 売り切れてしまった後、おすすめが出ても、商品詳細欄のASIN文字列を検索欄に入れて海外などでより安い同じ商品を探しました。 (日本版Amazon限定かもしれないですが、英語圏などの海外店の同じ商品はおすすめに上がりにくいです。ASINはAmazon内で同じ商品を比較できる文字列です。商品名の表記にミスがあったときも届く御品を正しく把握できるので、とても助かります。) この品番は7500-Cです。75〜は5インチの輪針、cはコンプリートセットのことを表しているようです。最後にsやlとあるときは、全て入っているわけではないので注意が必要です。 コンプリートセットにも3.0mmは入っていません。日本規格で小物を作るときには痛手なので、高価でしたが別売の針も追加で購入しました。 ケースの針が入っているポケットのさらに内側にもポケットがあります。追加の針を収納できてとても便利でした。 左ポケットに入っている針はsサイズで、sサイズ用のケーブルとだけつなげられます。右はlサイズで、lサイズケーブルとだけ繋がります。 別売でしたが、sサイズのケーブルをlサイズの針(チップ)に使えるアダプタも買いました。 ケーブルは、しっかりとしたつくりでした。引っかからず、スムーズに編めるのに芯に強度があり折れなさそうです。でも力強くマジックループ編みを数回すると、やはり曲がりくねりました。マジックループ編みはケーブルを酷使するので、せっかく高価なものを買うならあまりその技法はおすすめしません。 このセットには、ちゃんとケーブルがsサイズ用とlサイズ用で一通り揃っています。入っていないのは20cm(約7インチ)のような特別短いものと、93cm(36インチ)などのより長いものです。 思いきって買って大正解でした！

Sie haben wirklich die sensationellsten Spitzen die überall problemlos durchgleiten- ein Träumchen echt. Die Übergänge der Schraubverbindungen vom Seil zur Nadel - absolut glatt und ohne Kanten und Widerstände. Selbst feinstes Lace-Garn lässt sich perfekt verstricken. Sie sind weder schwer noch kalt - alles andere als altbekannte Metallnadeln. Wer vorhat mehr zu stricken, dem sei es eine Empfehlung, an der man langfristig nich vorbei kommt. Agulhas maravilhosas, ponta bem fina, cabos que não ficam dobrados, recomendo muito
