Just like the Title Description says these are quality great replacements for almost any small 110volt window air conditioning units. Bought these because the reset type breaker plugs on my air conditioners on 2 of them one day tripped/shut off and when you would try to push the reset button to get the unit itself working again, it would not stay switched like the button was broke. Now this was on a three month old air conditioner so I knew the air conditioner couldn’t have been broken already and like I said I had another air conditioner window unit that did the same thing so I found these on here and rolled the dice and replaced them on both units, And now both units are working again. It’s safe to do this because if something happens or is wrong with the air conditioner after you replace the plug, you still have the circuit breaker at the panel that will trip/shut off if there is a fault/problem that is still within the air conditioner unit itself.

Amazon came to the rescueWe had an awning installed but sadly after completion we lost both of our receptacles because of the electrical configuration.By cutting off the old plug and installing this plug we recovered the lost space. It was a very inexpensive solution and was not difficult as the instructions were excellent. The attached pictures show the before and after scenerio.I feel fortunate that I was able to find this plug on Amazon. It was not available in any of our local big box home improvement stores.I highly recommend this plug where flexibility in positioning is necessary.

This plug's ability to be oriented in increments of maybe 20 degrees relative to the cord is something I've never seen before and very useful. Be aware the orientation (that you determine) is fixed once connected - it is not like another style of plug/extension cord where there is continuous rotation through 360 degrees.Attaching the cord is not easy - you need to be pretty handy, and the included "instructions" are less than useless. The length of all three wires needs to be tailored to the rotation you have selected, which is doable if you are handy and have appropriate tools, but probably close to impossible if you are not.The wire clamps (screws you tighten to fasten each wire) work great once you get each length, and the amount of insulation stripped, right.Some complaints in comments assert that being made of plastic, and having screws that thread into said plastic, is bad, and the screws easily strip. I can only say I had absolutely no problems in this regard. Again, may depend on experience and handiness.If you don't need the adjustable-angle feature, go with a simpler plug that is not adjustable and has a fixed length each wire needs to be (which still may not all be the same).

This item has been in use several years now. It was easy to attach to a heavy gauge extension cord. We have it on an extension cord to a second refrigerator and has worked great. I know running a refrigerator on an extension cord is not recommended but it is working great for us.

This is a compact and useful electrical cable end for a tight fit for my short night light cable up the wall to avoid little kids playing with the installed night light.

You can rotate the direction that thecord goes.

I had two appliance cords with "stress-relief boots" both pull loose despite the boot.This made an excellent repair, you can point the cord where it has less stress and it captures the cord quite well.Very easy to attach.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this to use with an extension cord. While the overall build quality is solid, the ease of assembly leaves something to be desired. I tested it with a 14-gauge cable.To start, there are three screws just to access the inner connectors—plus three more to reach the metal terminals (though those aren’t strictly necessary to remove). It’s a bit convoluted, but the silver lining is that all screws use the same drill bit, which makes the process more manageable. After assembly, you’ll need to choose the angle at which you want the connector to sit, as it cannot be rotated once the back screw is secured. Also, the cord ends need to be trimmed to different lengths depending on the angle you choose which could cause a trouble at a future juncture if you need to change the angle agaOne thing to note: these plugs are slightly bulky, so they may not fit well if you're trying to connect several into a single power strip. However, they're perfectly fine if you only need to plug in one or two—especially if your power strip has well-spaced outlets.Overall, I would selectively recommend this plug—it’s great if you know what you're getting into and don’t mind a bit of extra effort during setup.
