DON'T BUY THE PAPERBACK!!!
Bought the paperback since I have other paperback books with good quality for being reference and sitting on my bookshelf most of the time when not in class. However, this one is terrible in paperback. It's is basically an over-priced stack of Xerox copies bound together. Diagrams are un-readable, and the "cover" (which is about 1 page of cardstock thick) starting peeling after a week of sitting on my desk. There is fading on the side of the pages - where it is orange in hardcopy - blurrs the text as all pages are black & white only.As for content, it is very wordy- taking a whole chapter to say what could be said clearly and unconfusingly within half a page. A lot of sentences are redundant, as chapter explainations are vague, and sometimes misleading. After a year of this book, I'm going to sell back to my University bookstore and buy a better book.

Bogart does a great job at explaining circuit analysis
Bogart does a great job at explaining circuit analysis, however his worded questions use examples from other pages which requires you to flip through pages to find them every so often. Overall it's a great book don't get me wrong, I just wish everything was on one page.

Excellent Book
It is an excellent book to read and understand the concept. If you are freshman or first time learning electronic devices it is a great book to start your knowledge.

Alot of data with no explanation
This book was the primary text for my Electronics I and II classes as an electrical engineer. It has all the formulas needed to evaluate and create circuits using bjt and fet transistors along with a great deal of other information. What it lacks though is any attempt to instill an understanding of the behavior of the circuit. At a college level, doing any kind of work should be more than regurgitating formulas on a test form, it should be evaluating the behavior of the elements and how they are working together. If you want to learn how to solve for values in a circuit outlay this book is great, if you actually want to understand the outlay, find something else to teach you.
