This is a great product but might require a little patience. I acquired a new pair of sneaker boots. They had the typical eyelets with hooks for lacing. They came with the flat slippery laces you'd expect on dress shoes. They would neither stay tied nor remain in the hooks. I ordered these laces because I was ready to ditch the shoes. I would have liked directions and maybe a few tips. I used the photos in the Amazon listing for guidance. Once I was laced up, I had a brand new pair of sneaker boots that were easy to put on and take off, much more comfortable and they stayed tied. I'm happy and will watch for them to go on sale.

I had surgery a couple weeks ago. Bending down is not easy for me right now in recovery. I bought these for my work shoes and sneakers. LOVE! Easy to install, stays in place, they work great for boots and sneakers. I'm just sorry I didn't get these before. I don't even have to bend down, sit down, I can just put my foot in my shoes and go! These are very convenient and so thankful. Instructions: You lace them on your shoes just like your other laces. I left one shoe laced as a template and removed the other. After you lace them up, put the shoes on, I had help, so you can get the tightness/looseness right for you. Put the lock lace on the laces to make adjustments. Pull your foot in and out of the shoes standing to set it. Now to the cutting of the laces and putting on the clip. I left them long on my boots and ran the loose lace under the laces to the bottom then clipped it just in case I hurt my ankle/foot and I need a brace. I like to be cautious. They say cut them a couple inches below, but again I went long on my boots and my sneakers. Hope this helps, I will be buying more!

I didn't want to spend almost $300 on a pair of BOA laced snowmobile boots. I figured I would get a normal pair of FXR boots and utilize these laces and save $130. The laces were just long enough to make it through all the eyelets. These laces do stretch quite a bit but seem to hold tight enough. I don't think these would hold strong enough in certain applications. Overall I like them.

Customer service is great, I wear these on a pair of rocky paratrooper 6” boots and they hold the tension great, awesome replacement to laces and super easy.

This Works Great! I thought I never would need hiking boots, I'm 65, but I just purchased a new home and I'm back mowing the lawn again. I needed the hiking boots so my ankles would have more support on the small hills. But the problem is I can't bend over to tie shoes any more. This was definitely the Answer! My boots are tight and still I can easily slip them on with out Re-Tying. Highly Recommend!.

These are a great alternative for boots. They also never cut off circulation which is nice when drawn really tight.

Pretty good Time savers, but the problem with these laces is that they pop out of the end lock piece on one side. And that's with out yanking on it real hard. I've tried recutting and resecuring. But it keeps happening but just on one boot. Also the spring in the pinch piece could be stronger so that it grips better.
