Tea Forte PUGG 24oz Ceramic Teapot with Tea Infuser, Poppy Fields

An exceptionally pretty and cleverly designed little teapot! The rich purple/brown glaze and bright poppies on this little gem of a teapot make using it a joy. The cleverly designed basket infuser for loose tea and the hinged, clip-on and off lid make quick work of filling and cleaning the pot. The spout is well formed and pours cleanly. The only shock was how small a 24-ounce teapot really is. This would make four cups if you are using your great-grandmother's delicate bone china teacups and saucers.....but for a good "up-sized" cup or mug today, you will only pour about two servings. Well, I have a big hefty Brown Betty teapot from the UK for times when I want quantity. This makes tea just for me; so I will sit back with my mug and admire the Pugg's cheerful looks. I have added a photo comparing a 12-ounce mug to the 24-ounce Pugg Teapot. It was a bit surprising to find I could fill this cup twice from the teapot and that was just enough for me.

This is the absolute cutest little teapot! It holds a perfect 4 cups of brewed tea. I have no difficulty pouring from it or cleaning it. I love this little teapot. I must admit that lid is a poor design, but I'm overlooking it due to the cute factor. The metal lid is a pressure clamp that does not open fully when attached. I need to remove the lid to fill, and use the tea basket. I loosely cover pot with the lid while brewing, and reattach when done for pouring. Absolutely love the ceramic flower print and colors are beautiful.

This little tea pot is ADORABLE...I'm a flower lover so I love the design which is why I bought it. However, the functionality is terrible. It's hard to get the little basket out, the lid doesn't stay open unless you hold it, and it leaks all over every time I pour from it. I've tried pouring quickly, slowly, with the lip touching the glass, without etc...doesn't matter how I pour it dribbles down the side of the pot. I should have returned it likely, but I recycled the box already so I guess I'm just going to hold a napkin on it every time I pour from it.

I bought this because I have the matching mug and liked the design. The infuser is a little fussy and you have to wiggle the basket out to clear the cover it sits in. The entire metal cover is only held on by being sort of pinched onto the teapot. Not sure how long that will last. The pot pours OK. I have found most pots somewhat drippy - so to be expected. It's a good size, holding about 4 cups of water. It is not double walled like the TF mug. I have ended up using the infusing mug way more than the pot.

Very pretty and convenient teapot, size is big enough for 2 servings or more depending on the teacup size. I make tea and it I don't finish it, I just store it in the refrigerator and drink it cold. Does get a little hot But is you grab it from the handle, Handle stays cold. The only thing that I wish was different is the lid, because you have to hold it while u are adding water or tea. But it's not that big of a deal to me. Over all well made and cute little teapot

It's beautiful and holds enough water for 2+ mugs of tea, BUT the spout drips horribly when pouring. Such a poor design on this spout - unfortunate since the rest of the teapot is so lovely. Beautiful, but a bit impractical.

Beautiful, perfect size for 2 cups and a little bit, easy to use& clean, highly recommended for all tea lovers! I bought three of those; one for myself and two for friends. Everybody loves it!

Perfect for two cups of my favorite teas. I really like that the lid can easily be removed for cleaning and adding hot water from my water cooler.
