Two year review. Great cooling & heating ability for 16X26 room. No noise problem. Sealed around unit neatly. Easy assembly with recommended sleeve-bought separately. Please be aware this item does not come with metal insert sleeve. Amazon recommends Cooper & Hunter sleeve fit size & is right on point. No problems-read directions carefully & you will need two people to install.

We had an old PTAC unit crap out on us in the middle of Summer in this 1940's house we just bought. No warranty & AC guys told us to just replace it. Bet. We got this C&H 15,000 BTU PTAC unit and it arrived in like 3 days. It slid right into the wall sleeve of the old one even though it was a different brand. Easy install. Immediately functioned without issue. We did also have to buy a wall adapter for the plug was an old incompatible one but it wasn't overly expensive. Instant relief from the smoldering heat. Super quiet. Remote works properly. We are definitely happy with our purchase.

Showed up quickly installition was easy , this was a replacement unit with a sleeve already installed. After the first couple weeks unit started makng a rattling noise, read the reviews people noted it was a bit noisy so i assumed it was what it was. After a while i got used to it. worked fine through the summer, I installed this in July. This past weekend I noticed it was running pretty much all the time. Took the cover off and noticed it was freezing up. I turned it off and just let the fan run. the Ac thawed ut but only blows warm air, Good news is rattling noise is gone, this is very disappointing 4 months is totally unacceptable. I did not buy the extended warranty as Ive 2 other units in my home and have never had an issue. Not sure if I got a bad one or what? Thankfully its not 100 out

Great unit, runs very quiet and cools as well if not better than the Amana we replaced. I would give this 5 stars but the remote and app are not good at all. The remote only works if you are literally within 4 feet of the unit. My plan was to mount the remote near the office entry but it won’t work even at 15 feet away from the unit. The app is very basic and no fine tuning at all. The app should teach energy usage among other things at this price point. Overall a good unit at less the cost of the Amana PTAC units. Hoping it last!

For the price the performance is top notch. I put it in a house 480 sq ft. It cools it better than a mini split. The air flow is great. It also has a low profile, which makes it a sleek design. Just keep in mind the sleeve and outside grill is NOT included. You have to order these separately. So make sure you price the ones that include those, might save you some money. This was easy to install.

My old unit was 25 years old before it died. I was pleasantly surprised that this much more efficient unit slid right into the old shell. I like that I can control it from my phone or from the remote control, and that is supports schedules. I use the schedule to warm up (or cool down) the office before I go to work, and the unit turns itself off at the end of the day. My only complaint is that the remote doesn't work if the unit is turned on by app. It seems to be an either-or configuration.

So far so good on my new unit, which was a replacement very easy to install. The only problem I have is I cannot find the serial number if there’s any help out there that can help me with that. I sure would appreciate it.

It’s not the same quality as the PTAC unit that I replaced. It takes longer to heat up! It is working though!
