Great Leather work!!! I previously purchased a new Ontario Sp47, but the sheath that the knife comes with is 3 inches longer than the blade. The sheath is plain-Jane, no pouches, no fire steel loop. So I was on the hunt for a much better sheath. This CFK Sheath is really well made; Buffalo hide leather with sturdy stitching and snaps. Fits the Ontario well... just a little room side to side (understandable the sheath can accommodate a 2 1/2" knife, and the Ontario is 1 7/8" wide.) The small pouch is a great size for a Wet Fire cube and a small signaling mirror. You might even be able to place a compass alone in the pouch. The measurements for it are 1" wide x 2 1/4" long x 1 3/4" deep. One thing I recommend doing to this sheath is putting some elastic cord through the rivets on the retention strap. The elastic pulls the strap out of the way of the blade, so you don't continually cut the strap to pieces. You can't go wrong with this sheath about $35 bucks shipped!!! Delivery was fast only a few days to get it. Impressed with the quality and stitching. Fits the BK2 knife well. Ferro rod loop good and tight. Only thing I'd like to see is the pocket to be a little bigger to receive the small Altoids tin to carry a little char cloth or fishing line and hooks or a Zippo lighter. Very please with this sheath.

Love that sheath can be carried three ways+plus, Dangler, Scout Carry or Regular Hip Carry also can place knife either direction or wear on Left or Right Hip. Only issue for me was the part rapping around knife handle on back of snap? needed to be removed and sanded & polished then placed piece of tape to protect knife handle from any scratches from snap-back?. Maker needs to sand & polish & recess snap then the sheath would be pretty much flawless...Still awesome sheath grade A.....!!

This sheath is solid, hangs well from your belt, holds my Schrade SCHF36 really well! Fits like a glove! Fire steel and striker that comes with it works well, Only improvement would be how it attaches to your leg, string makes it a bit floppy. I would recommend this product!

The sheath came in quickly and so far appears well made and fits the knife good. The original sheath is now backup and mink and beeswax will be applied for phase two break-in.

It works on my bk 2 but not for my esee 6. I bought it for my esee 6 but it dont fit right. It says that it was made for the esee 6. Maybe for the esee 5.Save your money
