Ideal replacement for standard rubber strap on dive watch
I bought the navy blue strap to replace the standard one on my Citizen Promaster Eco-drive Dive watch, which is a very similar blue colour. This strap is much more flexible than the standard one, and looks like it was always meant to be paired with this watch, or any similar one to be honest. The brushed buckle is perfect, and the strap thickness is just right making it feel very comfortable. The strap loops are solid and the second one has a neat little insert that fits in the end hole of the strap, making it stay in place all day. Does make removing it slightly more tricky though but not an issue. The textured pattern on the strap is something I was a little concerned about until I saw it in the flesh, but its actually very subtle in reality and adds a slightly more premium feel to it. Can't speak for the durability of the strap yet, as I've only had it a week. I did replace the standard quick release bars though with the ones that came with the watch, as the ones in the strap have quite small ends to them, which rattled quite a bit in my watch case lugs. They were fine to be fair, but I just felt happier with the larger standard pins. Pulling out the quick release bars was tricky as it is impossible to not damage the small slot in the rubber where the quick release lever is. But it hardly matters as it doesn't affect the strap and it is not visible being on the underside. I think the strap is a little on the pricey side, as I have purchased NATO type straps & Archer silicone straps before for around £13, and they were fine, so at £20 its a bit more pricey, but so far I would say it is worth it for the additional quality feel and features it gives. Would definitely buy another if I needed to.

Great quality band that fits both skinny and broad wrists
I picked this up to stick on a Seiko dive watch that came on a metal bracelet. Fitting the Barton band took less than a minute and has transformed the Seiko into a nice low key comfortable beater watch. One thing to note is that with Seiko dive watches you need fatter spring bars than the Barton bands come with, as the ends of the barton spring bars will eventually wear the larger holes in a dive watch. Following a Barton video online it took seconds to remove the quick release spring bars from the Barton strap and then a few seconds more to fit some after-market fatter spring bars into the barton strap ('fat skinny' / 'fat slim' spring bars are the best for this as they're a bit thinner and slot into the Barton strap easy). I'm sure there are off the shelf solutions but I was really impressed with how flexible yet sturdy the Barton bands feel. There's a slight stretch to them that has meant I don't feel myself adjusting them as much as my wrist swells / contracts throughout the day. The locking end portion eliminates the annoying trailing tail which catches on my G-Shock watch. The fact the Barton comes with two sizes in the package is a big plus: I've got a tiny 5.9" wrist and it fits me really well, whereas my friend has much larger wrist and the strap fits him equally well with the larger strap attached.

Barton Watch Band - Rubber (with sliding pins, no tool required).
I bought the 22mm size, that is Black on the outside & 'Pumpkin Orange' on the underside (which shows the orange on the edges) & I wish I had bought one of these a long time before now. (I also have another in the same size, with the exact opposite arrangement of the same 2 colours to put on a different brand '300m divers watch', when I can get a good enough tool to remove the stainless steel bracelet, so I hope it will look good on it - it will certainly FEEL good on it. My only concern is how thin the rubber is, so I hope it will last long enough - at least a couple of years certainly (when not wearing it every day). This (black outside), is the one I am currently wearing now on my Phoibos Diver & it is so much more comfortable than the rubber strap this watch came with, I can't understand who would actually like the HORRIBLE!!!! strap I had to have removed from my watch. It (the Phoibos rubber strap) was I assume designed to be worn OVER a wetsuit, as it is so 'grippy' that is is VERY uncomfortable but the strap is also so short it barely fits at all around my 7.1" wrist, & I am only 5'2" tall, but not exactly a fat or large bodied person either! So the material of the 'rubber' is likely ideal to wear OVER a wetsuit, but it would have needed to be at least 1.5 inches LONGER than it is to do that. So a 'diver' with a wrist about 6" around (would be very skinny then, if around 5'8" tall, like some 'navy' or recreational divers - I mention the height because 'scuba' equipment IS large AND HEAVY) may be able to use this strap - but not me. By the way the watch I am referring to, is a Phoibos Apollo/Wavemaster 300m Divers Watch - 47mm approx case size, 22mm lug width (with the Abalone Shell Dial, instead of the Black or White 'Wavemaster' style dial), that apart from dial 'colour' is identical to the 'other varieties'. A VERY nice watch, with the best 'lume' I have ever seen on a watch dial, but with a HORRIBLE rubber strap. In case anyone wonders why I gave 'only' 4 stars (for the Barton Watch Band) that is because I don't give 5 stars to anyone. 5 stars is 'perfection' - & that does not exist. If the rubber used on these straps was a little thicker - especially at the 'lug end' (since the watch I put it on is a 'divers watch', and it is about 14mm thick), it would also LOOK a lot better on a 'chunkier' watch which 'divers watches' & 'mechanical watches' always are (my Phoibos is a mechanical divers watch), then it would get 4.5 stars. Thank you to 'Barton', for a so far good product.

Quality is great, but didn't last long
Great quality, love the wearability and the feel of the strap, it's just the price tag now. My Barton needed replacing, it split at the attachment point and I went to buy again, but not at £26.. Then I realised it has only lasted less than 2 years, so dissapointed for something so good to last a short time.

Great strap, great feel and comfort, great value.
I am very impressed with this strap, and especially the quick release spring bars which make changing straps on your watch or watches a breeze. Literally a 3 second process for each side of the strap and you are ready to fit a different one - rubber, rubber of a different colour, leather, canvas, whatever. They may even do a metal bracelet, though I suspect not. The strap is lightweight, and makes a huge difference to the feels of a watch when compared to the usual metal bracelet. I have mine on a Seiko Samurai which came with a heavy, slightly jangly strap, and the feel is much more comfortable, and at a guess I would say it almost halves the weight of the watch on the wrist. And it looks good too, with the black outer being well offset by the subtle showing of the bright orange underside, which goes well with the Orange face of my Samurai. I will be buying some more in different colours and sizes.

Nicely made but incredibly fiddly
Barton produces great quality straps and this one does not disappoint, it looks really nice and it is easy to fit and very comfortable on the wrist. It lost a star due to the fact that is incedibly fiddly when you want to take the watch on and off as there is a lug on the strap that locks the end of the strap to stop it flapping around and getting snagged, unfortunately, although a great idea it was a real pain in its implementation, taking more than an acceptable amount of time to align and clip-in. I cannot fault the quality but due to the mentioned frustrating rubber clip mechanism, I would not buy again.

Comfortable and good quality strap
Bought the green and black for my citizen divers watch and it looks great. Oh what a pleasure the quick release function is...normally a fair bit of faffing around with changing a watch strap but this was on in seconds and feels really secure. Very comfortable to wear and even if it lasts just a year or so at this price it is excellent value. It's already better actually than the silicon strap my watch came with. Recommended

Barton Elite Silicon Strap - Highly Recommend
This is an amazing quality of strap at a good price point. The silicon is soft but sturdy enough to give reassurance whilst wearing a heavy watch. The free loop has a sort of built in unde-clip that locks into place when worn so that there is no risk of the strap coming undone or flapping about. I've changed my buckle to correspond with my watch - but the original stainless steel is also good quality. Also, the quick release is a godsend. All straps should have this feature from here on out! Finally, the package comes with two sizes of strap - which I thought was a nice touch. Would highly recommend and will likely buy additional straps myself!
