perfect pizza even on first try- why didn't we get this years ago? Also great for bread, cakes etc.
We like Italian style pizza's and bought this stone to make them here in the US. However, I'm sure you can use it to bake any type of pizzas that has your fancy! This pizza stone is fantastic! We had never baked our own pizza before, and our first try turned out fantastic. It was easy to do, and the pizza took us back to quick lunches in Rome and summery evenings in Venetian back alleys. We look forward to using it often and try out different types of toppings, sauces and cheeses. - It arrived in a box with good packaging so that the stone was well protected during shipment. - We have only used the stone once: I baked a bundt cake on it (takes 1 1/4 hour), and when it was nicely heated up, my fiancé used it to bake a pizza- our first ever!- from scratch. The pizza came out great! (see pic) We used a normal gas oven. - The pizza was done exactly right: not too soft, not too crunchy, lovely crusts on the outside. It took less than 10 minutes! - A pizza that covers the plate is big enough to feed two people who really like pizza (us), or three or more people who just fancy one or two big slices paired with a side salad. (note that the bell pepper and the zucchini shown on the picture has been sitting in the oven for about 30-50 minutes before put on the pizza) - The plate was super easy to clean, and it doesn't take up extra space as we can just keep it in the oven. - We recommend getting a Pizza Peel (we got a 14x16 inch one, which is perfect for this stone!) to get the pizza on and off the stone. I don't see how one could do without a peel. - I am looking forward to use it when baking pies, cakes etc. for a better distribution of heat throughout the oven. The bundt cake that I put on the stone to bake (325 degrees) turned out beautiful and had the perfect light crunchy outside and super rich buttery moist inside. - I've just taken up baking bread too, so I will be able to use it for that purpose too! Super excited!

Best pizza stones ever!
We make A LOT of pizzas and have experience with many kinds of pizza stones, these are by far the best I've used. The nonstick coating is wonderful and needs almost no cornmeal. 100% recommended, we love these so much we frequently give them as gifts.

Amazing stone have to read this article..
I don't know where this stone came from? But this works flawless. Being from Connecticut. Lived just outside of NewHaven. Been to the famous Pepes Pizzeria growing up. Made this with Jack's Pizza yep Walmart. Anyway threw fine cornmeal down on stone added bacon to pizza which was sausage and pepperoni. Cooked to instructions 400 on grill stone up to temp 30mins 1st 7min then turned 8mins longer. Took off . Taste just like home . Pepes . Alittle burnt on edges just like Pepes. Taste was 100 like Pepes. Good luck sure miss Ct pizza though.

Decent Pizza Stone
This is not the greatest pizza stone. I don't feel the heat and cooking ability the same as previous stones i have used. However and this is a big one. I think this will be better longterm as it has the coating over the stone which makes it a little easier to clean. Also if your like me less prone to cracking from pizza spilling over on the stone (How i broke my last stone). So i think this is a good stone overall although feel the coating kind of hurts the heating but think it will be worth it because it will probably last longer than my other one.

A great pizza stone!
Great product! Very easy to clean once it cools. One thing to consider, it seems to cook just a little quicker than specified recipe times.

Cracked on 2nd use
Was great during our first use, but the 2nd time we used it it cracked. Was easy to clean and seemed decent for the price, but (popped) cracked halfway thru making pizza the 2nd time we used it. We didn’t take it out, just removed pizza with a pizza peel and it cracked before we put the next pizza on it. Very sad.

Nonstick is perfect for large pizza and bread. Terrific stone used weekly in our house!
Had a cheaper $15 stone that I bought at a local Ross that worked great for a year and then suddenly split in two. After some shopping around, i finally decided on this black Heritage Ceramic Pizza Stone and it's perfect. I make homemade thin crust pizza at least once a week for myself and my husband. The 15" size is perfect for us and so far we've had great use of it for 4 months. I did chip the side already with the tiniest chip, but that was definitely my fault. So far, it's held up in 450 degrees and also in the broiler. The nonstick ceramic surface is amazing. Though I'd recommend a pizza paddle with this, we use a large wooden cutting board instead and it's fine. I warm the stone up in a 425F oven while I prep the dough. Then, I build the pizza on a large wooden cutting board covered in cornmeal. By that time, the oven and stone are usually pretty hot and I just slip the dough on to the stone and bake for 15-17 minutes. Then, we reverse it when the pizza's ready, pulling the stone out of the oven and sliding the pizza back onto the clean cutting board for cutting. The stone releases the pizza easily even if there's a bit of cheese that overflows, and, once cool, only takes a quick wipe down to make it perfect. I've also used it for general bread baking and had great results. It lives in our oven for the most part and I have no complaints at all. Great value--highly recommend

Such a cool bit of kit. Have made many amazing pizas since getting it. First one arrived broken but had a replacement sent really quickly. New one has been faultless. Very happy!

Great value, durable, sleek look, washs up easily. I store my stone in my oven and leave it in when cooking or baking...as it doesn't hinder the cooking process. We use this stone almost weekly.
