Labyrinth Quilt Pattern Makes 4 Different Size Quilts

I had looked at this pattern in quilt books and on this site for over a year. Last month, I decided to order the pattern. This is not for a beginning quilter! The pattern is complicated, but as long as you are very organized, it is easy to assemble. I made the king size pattern and followed the directions carefully. I organized my fabrics by number and type and used the enclosed schematic to assemble. I still made a few mistakes and had to do some ripping out, but the mistakes are so easy to spot, you find them before you move on to the next row. I found that putting a piece of paper at the top and at the bottom and only showing the directions for the row I was assembling was the easiest way to prevent mistakes. I made my quilt using a medium green, chocolate brown, azure and cream. My family beleives it to be the prettiest I have made.

This pattern looks way more difficult than it is. Made of squares and half square triangles, the pattern is easy to follow. The directions are very clear, and leaves enough extra fabric in case you have a small error. I used fewer fabrics and repeated them, which resulted in more impact of the pattern itself, and it saved in the amount of fabric needed... I made this in a lapsize as well as a queen. It is a great pattern for a man's quilt, since it is geometric.

It might take several months before I get around to doing this quilt, so my comment will be limited. I have "heard" that this pattern could be quite a nightmare without a pattern so I heeded advice and purchased it (I usually do not need a pattern). Other advice includes keeping close track of your pieces and definitely use a design wall. There are some stunning quilts posted online using this pattern! The delivery was prompt and item was well packaged.

Saw this pattern as a kit! Wanted to pick my own colors, so I was glad to find just the pattern. Easy to understand directions. Would recommend this pattern.

I made this quilt top and it was beautiful. I am now making it again for my granddaughter, in black and white with the star being bright color. I will make another one when that is down. It's a simple pattern to cut out and just follow the pattern, working from the middle out, it goes together real easy.

Love that the instructions are fairly easy to follow, this is my first quilt I am attempting where I am following a pattern, there are a couple places when cutting that i wish they would have shown it differently but oh well, lesson learned, but glad i can reuse and make in different sizes!
