Got this as a gift for my niece and nephew. They loved it. It was a little complicated at first to figure out as they are ages eight and 11, respectively. However, once they caught on, they played it nonstop.

No much to say. The game showed up as planned, and worked great. Fun game.

I love this game and played it when I was younger... Now I have my son playing it and he loves it too... Great game!!!

Caught myself having fun. Long load times compared to the original is my only complaint.

This game is not for everyone, and that is clear once you start playing on medium difficulty. Yes there are items that help give you an advantage, but for the most part, you'll need raw skill to compete against the ai, and much more so online.If that's fine for you, this game is fantastic, i spent almost 50 hours alone grasping the mechanics to a peak, and it is an absolutely thrilling game, topped off with fantastic characters ranging from classic crash, post naughty dog era, and even crossover characters such as spyro. Grand prixes are also a great factor in giving the game a ton of replay value, such as adding extra tracks and new items if you complete all the challenges required. Some even incentivize that you learn the game in order to complete them.That said, what keeps this game from being perfect is the faulty online. When it works, it works very well. Howrver, 50% of the time you'll end up having someone disconnect and disband the lobby. The game also has snuck in microtransactions, but they are entirely cosmetic, and the stuff is relatively easy to obtain anyway (provided you do play consistently online).

Wie viele Stunden ich dieses Spiel als Kind wohl auf der PlayStation 2 gespielt habe? Kann man vermutlich nicht zählen. Dementsprechend war ich wahnsinnig begeistert als ich dieses Remake für die Switch gefunden habe.Die Grafik ist super. Sie läuft diesen feinen Grad zwischen dem Alten und dem Neuen. Es ist neu, aber nicht so anders als dass das Nostalgie Gefühl ausbleibt. Die Stimmen wurden verändert, was aber auch okay ist.Die Strecken, Items, Story – alles wie früher, was mich super glücklich macht.Allerdings gibt es einen sehr großen Makel: die gottlos langen Ladezeiten. Nach jedem Level, jeder Cutscene, jedem auswählen des Kurses folgt eine bis zu 1 Minute langen Ladezeit. Vom Auswählen der Story bis zum Fahren der ersten Strecke können deshalb durchaus schonmal 3 Minuten rein für's Laden draufgehen. Das nimmt dem Spiel leider total die Dynamik und Immersion, und ist furchbar nervig.
