This is my second MRV 500 amp. I bought this one for my teenagers first car stereo system.

Alpine Delivers
The media could not be loaded. WOW is all I can say. I have owned a lot of amplifiers and speakers in my thirty years of living but this one is the best by far. I brought this amp because I wanted to run a single subwoofer just to fill in the car's factory system that was lacking bass. I hooked this amp up to one pioneer subwoofer and I have been able to out base people who have two lower end subwoofers with no problem.I'm glad I made this purchase because I am able to just fill in my systems lacking bass or turn it p and rattle my rear view. This amp is small but packs a lot of punch. The biggest thing to look at when buying an amp is the RMS which is the power the amp actually puts out. This amp says 500 watts and it delivers. A lot of people go off that maxx output and wonder why their 1200 watt max power amp that actually pushes only 300 watt RMS does not sound better than mine.Alpine is a brand that delivers. You can't go wrong.I uploaded a quick video to show the amps power. I only half the Vol. turned up half way.

Great amp
Bought 1 amp coupled with a kicker 12" 4 ohm downfire. This setup really sounds rich and will pound if you want it to. It wont win any car stereo loudness contest but for my 54 yr old ears it sounds rich and full. We have bought 3 now for all our rigs.

The little amp that COULD… and DOES it WELL
Little amp ROCKS. Gain is a little touchy if you use the bass knob. Excellent bang for the buck. Buy one before they are gone… item discontinued by Alpine. Next generation adds sub sonic distortion filter.

Great Amplifier, BUT..
It was great and was banging my 4ohm and 2ohm subs.Very powerful and obviously alpine makes amazing products, I think that I might got a faulty amp,It started wining after a week of use, wasn’t even beating on it since I was running a low wattage 4ohm subwoofer.Had to return it but I will consider rebuying it in the future to give it another shot!Seller was super fast and send in perfect packaging!

Perfect amp
Got this for an install I did on my sons car along with the 4 channel version for his kids and highs. Paired with a sundown 12 in an unported enclosure I built. and this thing makes the sun shine.
