Polaroid Socialmatic Instant Digital Camera (Black)

I love this camera! I've purchased two; one for work one for home.At work (assisted living) we needed a camera for clinical, marketing and life enrichment and this fits the bill! Easy for multiple person use. Very user friendly. We take photos for newsletters and online marketing. People smile just looking at it! We also used it to network with residents' families. I am planning a photobooth this week and this camera will be a blast!At home, at first I was frustrated with the low resolution, but I am enjoying the nostalgic look more now. Lighting and balance matter when using this camera.

(I'll skip all the technical terms and descriptions and only introduce the reason why I, as a normal person, was disappointed to death when I got this so-called camera.)1. I decided to return it as soon as I opened the box. My friend decided not to buy as soon as she saw mine.------------------------------------------2. This camera is really thick, thicker than you can ever imagine. it is made of plastic.--------------------------------------------3. don't say I didn't tell you it takes forever to take a picture:I pressed down the shutter when i see my cat just opened her mouth to yawn, but what i got on the picture was she already done yawning and lying peacefully on the floor---------------------------------------------4. you can add any filter to your photo, but don't expect to print out anything likes it.you lost a lot of details when you get the photos printed.---------------------------------------------5. it also takes forever when you try to send your photos from outside the camera to it in order to print it out. --how long does it take? --until the screen turned dark, a single photo had not been sent successfully. and since the screen turns dark, the task got canceled automatically, you have to send it again.-----------------------------------above is a partial list.

More of a tablet than a camera. Also no instructions pretty much. One of the biggest cons is that there is no QuickStart to camera to point and click. So every time you want to use this thing you have to unlock it and open one of the camera apps. The one designed for the camera takes kind of long to start and thus kind of takes away spontaneity. Also sometimes the screen in unresponsive. It's a cool product that could use a few tweaks to make it shine.After a few weeks I have this to add:Whether you are using the camera or not the battery drains. For instance, I charged the camera 100% and took a few pictures and printed them. I had 80% battery when I turned the camera on standby- much like a tablet you can turn it off or tap the power button to have it on but locked with the display off. Well this drains the battery so that a few hours later the camera was dead. If you turn the camera off it may take 1-2 minutes to start up. Again, this takes away from the spontaneity of some pictures. The pictures come out great though! A little dark at times, but they stick on great and get some great detail despite the small size. Despite the negativity I love the camera. It just needs some adjustments.

not very clear, not enough digits, android system not very handy and smooth compare to apple system, but it has 120% attraction whereever you carry them to. best stuff to use in themeparks, state parks, tourist attractions.

I ordered the Polaroid and it was promised to me in 4-5 weeks due to a high volume requested. I got it in 1week. The camera is awesome my girl is Happy. Lol. Thank you!!

I love the idea of this camera because we want to be able to post and print pictures, however, the pictures didn't always print and the OS was slow and felt like a phone from 2005 trying to get onto the internet or Facebook. Really wish we would have had better luck!

Very slow shutter speed, button response time is not quick. Operation is not very intuitive and in my case the printer failed to work. Overall this was a product that I had been excited about only to become quickly disappointed.Operational instructions are scarce. You must have the unit fully charged before you can perform the "outlined steps before first use". There are tiny buttons on the touch screen that led to frustration because I would accidentally hit the back button and all my entries would be lost. There is no clear instructions on how to share pictures, you just have to figure it out.I really wanted to like this but have already arranged to have the thing returned.

I like this thing. Its like a mini tablet camera all-in-one. I heard theres gonna be a firmware update that fixes a lot of issues people are having with it.

Des problème avec la caméra reçu, Polaroid m’a envoyé une nouvelle caméra qui avait déjà appartenu à quelqu’un en chine.Donc toute l’appareil était programmé en chinois et mot de passe aussi, rien de nettoyé alors la caméra #-2 n’a jamais fonctionné non plusC’était un cadeau d’anniversaire à ma fille de 14 ansBravo Polaroid

No recomiendo comprar este producto ya que la carga no se realiza. Después de dejarlo una noche entera cargando siempre indica que la batería esta al 0%, por lo que ni siquiera se pueden imprimir fotos. Por otro lado, el tamaño de la cámara es demasiado grande, por lo que no se puede utilizar como una cámara digital normal y llevarla a cualquier sitio.

Très accroché au départ sur cet appareil plein de promesses selon les descriptifs et test lus avant acquisition .. c'était un cadeau (cher) pour ma fille ! Très déçu lors de la tentative d'utilisation de cet appareil. Explications : dès la mise en route > constat : pas du tout de charge même minime ! J'ai donc mis cet appareil en charge (voyant rouge au branchement) et après quelques instant il m'affichait une charge à 100% (voyant vert) > erreur : en vérifiant la charge je constate qu'il n'est même pas à 4% > donc : affichage erroné. Plusieurs fois branché et débranché : à chaque fois l'appareil est au rouge et ensuite au vert après 1mn environ, affichant un taux de charge erroné à 100% alors qu'il atteint à peine 3%. Après quelques heures sans utilisation, plus de charge du tout. L'écran tactile est également très approximatif et pas très confortable d'utilisation, de plus la mise au point automatique est lente et génère souvent des photos floues. Bref très déçu de cet appareil très cher pour ce que c'est qui a été retourné au vendeur pour remboursement !!! Conseil : ne l'achetez pas !!!

Die Kamera ist groß, schwer und unhandlich. Daher ist sie nichts für Unterwegs. Das Fotopapier ist nur halb so groß wie die Kamera und auch das Display nimmt nicht die ganze Fläche der Rückseite ein, daher ist mir unklar, warum das Gerät selbst so groß sein muss.Ein Schnappschuss ist nicht möglich, da das Betriebssystem der Kamera erst hochfahren muss. Zudem ist die ganze Bedienung sowie das Auslösen von Fotos sehr schwerfällig und irgendwie verzögert. Einen Zoom konnte ich nicht finden, wenn es ihn denn gibt, ist er sehr versteckt. Es scheint, als sei die Entwicklung bei diesem Gerät schlichtweg noch nicht abgeschlossen.
