I adore Cote D'Or and have not been able to find it locally for a lot of years.Used to order the milk chocolate bars off of Amazon, but that was a rare splurge at 5.99 a piece plus 3.99-5.99 shipping, the bars went up to 9.99 so no more.NOW, the price is lower and there is a free shipping option! I will buy from this seller again, they stepped up their game!The chocolate. My first taste of their darker chocolate and it's wonderful. The same amazingly smooth and perfectly tempered texture melting into a nice darker-than-their-milk chocolate taste, not bitter.I am a dark chocolate fan, he darker the better, and I enjoy the bitter.I expected a more intense from a double noir bar but am not unimpressed or disappointed. It's Cote D'Or good, darker than the milk as I have said, but not like nibbling a chunk of 97% cacao dark.A step above Hersheys or Cadbury for the darkness, but light years beyond them in quality and creation. When you nibble this and let it melt through your palette you won't be left with any wax-like feeling, graininess or regret.

It may take a bit longer to receive but the chocolate is "creme de la creme". Only outlet I have found for this treat which I discovered on one of many trips to Europe and Belgium in particular. If you like dark chocolate then check the % cocoa on this product. This order has been filled many times with great results & will be received well packed & in perfect condition. It's a no-brainer.!!

Cote d'Or is a Belgian chocolate with an excellent reputation. My wife remembers it as a treat from her childhood in France so we got this as a Christmas stocking stuffer. It was perfectly fresh and delicious! It's seldom seen in stores and so you pay a little more for importation. We bought the dark and it competes successfully with Lindt and Ghirardelli, though it's not a very high cocoa content blend.

I bought two packages - 6 double bars of my favorite Cote d'Or dark chocolate to give away to my friends and family as a special treat. When it arrived, the chocolate was old, dried out and whitish on surface. I tried one piece and the taste was nothing like a fresh bar of this brand I've known and loved for years. I wanted my money refunded which was over $50. but was advised on the Amazon website that this item cannot be returned. Amazon and the small family company of Jolitee now has one very unsatisfied customer.

I've always loved this brand. So happy Amazon carries it as outside of Europe it's rare. Good rich cocoa flavour not so heavy on the sugar.

Belgian chocolate is considered the finest in the world. In northwestern Europe, Cote d'Or is a standard supermarket item. Can't get it where I live, but the Italian and Swiss dark chocolates ae just as good, so there's no need to order this item online.

This used to be my go-to eating chocolate, and it has gotten incredibly hard to find anywhere. So happy to have found someone who has it on Amazon! It came all the way from Eastern Europe, but arrived faster than Amazon said it would, and well-packaged. I've only just had a bite of it so far, but the first bar is in fine shape -- no blooming or negative visual or textural characteristics. Just really smooth, delicious and just what I expect from Cote D'Or. Thanks!
