Super cute but they don't stay put very well

I purchased these after seeing a similar product in an online video tutorial. I specifically had in mind using the triangle or circle for a half up hair style on my black/brown hair.My hair is fine and very flat. I find that I can't use these well on freshly washed hair but by day 2+ and especially with some texture from hairspray and dry shampoo these do great things for my hair.I knew I would love the circle and triangle shapes. I have actually found that the bows are lovely as well.I'm not a big fan of the star / moon - too eclectic for my sensibilities. But for the price I don't consider that an issue.Oh, and the clasp on the feather ones is more of a spring snap - these tend to get caught and pull my hair and are a bit clunkier to work with. I was hoping to be able to pull my hair back on one side and use one of these vertically in an 80's inspired look but my hair isn't thick enough nor the clip designed in such a way to make this feasible - like the others it is best for a half up half down style pulled back

A few of these stay great. I have thin hair, so the heavier ones don’t stay in, even if I curl my hair. But I get compliments on the ones I can wear all the time. 5/10 recommend for thin hair. I would imagine 9/10 for thicker hair.

But they don’t stay put very well. I know if I twist my hair around, use products, & add clear bands or bobby pins I will come up with something cute tho! ❤️

These clips are great. Ive gotten so many comments on these clips in my hair. They can slid a little if your hair is a bit thin but I found using a little dry shampoo gives it some grip. They are nice quality and I liked the variety.

I needed dress up hair clips for my daughters thick hair so I went browsing. I saw this set and it was a great price with alot of pieces. Honestly, I thought if one happens to break then I have several more to use and I'm not out a ton of money. I am pleasantly pleased of how durable they are. Even with thick hair they are tight enough to keep her hair in and they are not breaking. Five different shaped clips come in 2 colors (gold and silver) and also included is a leaf barrette in both colors, so you are prepared no matter which metal or style you want to wear that day. They are so cute I even kept a few for myself!

I wasn't expecting much at such a low price, but I was pleasantly surprised. The set comes with a gold and silver of each shape and they all look beautiful. The style is very minimalistic and makes any outfit look more put together. The clip itself did not look like it would hold my hair very well, but it held my hair up much better than other pretty hair clips I've tried in the past. They are shipped to you in little baggies in a small box. Some of the clips look like the shiny finish is chipping off, but can only bee seen when you're looking really hard. When they're in my hair no one can tell that it has chipped. For the price it's definitely worth it.

These are absolutely beautiful and feel to be good quality. They are surprisingly heavy and do slide a little out of my hair. I have thick curly hair and don’t usually have this issue. Maybe it’s because they are as heavy as they are? I am definitely pleased with the look, though.
