Incredible drone!

You simply cannot find anything cooler in the world for $500. I was flying this thing all over the place like a pro in no time. The batteries will give you 15+ minutes of flight time if there is minimal wind. The video quality is pretty darn solid. If the quadcopter loses connectivity with the remote control in GPS mode, it will return to the exact spot from which it took off. I frequently demonstrate this to my friends by turning off the controller, and they are always left in a state of shock and awe. The amount of force generated by the propellers is simply stunning. I use it as a leaf blower for my driveway and sidewalks (seriously, not joking at all). It has crashed a few times (I let my friends fly it and they didn't listen to my advice) from considerable altitudes due to running into objects (trees, power lines, houses, etc.), and it still works perfectly. I would recommend calibrating it before first flight, but you could probably get by without calibrating. Be prepared for neighborhood kids, dogs, parents, etc. to come rushing over to you asking you what the heck it is that you just bought on Amazon.

The DJI Air 3S Combo was not available directly from DJI, but this vendor had them in stock! YEA!!! Great drone!!! The add-on Landing Pad is TOO SMALL. Ordered a larger one. The add-on Backpack is cheap, small junk!

I LOVE this quadcopter!!! This is my third quad and I am soooooo glad I finally upgraded to a Phantom. After looking at the improvements with the Phantom-II I decided they were not worth the money and went with this one, PERFECT decision! The Phantom flys fast and smooth, is agile, and responsive and if you know what you're doing, there is no place it can't go. Be prepared to be popular if you buy this thing, it draws a crowd out of nowhere every time I take it out the front door! I've seen some criticism of the FC40 camera and I don't understand that... The camera shoots AMAZING video that I think is every bit as good as a "Go-Pro" (OK the still photos are poor). I've been watching my videos on a 50" HD LCD TV and they are phenomenal, I think it is a FAR better camera than the price you pay for it! The extra value bundle that I got from Koozam was awesome as well. They give you about $65 worth of accessories for $40 and with no tax an free shipping you can't go wrong! Simple summary = GET a Phantom, get it from Koozam on Amazon and you will be the envy of everyone you know...

The package was VERY desirable!! BUT, had problems with the RC 2 Controller of that package!! Could not set up operation of said controller!! The system would not recognize the retry of the code sent from its site!!! Incredibly frustrating in multiple attempts to rectify!! Have returned whole unit to seller!! Awaiting credit to my account!!!!

THIS is the value point for entry level drone copters and arial photography. For about 500 bucks you get a solid piece of flyware, extra parts, an HD video camera and separate radio control. Features, control, stability, a little learning curve but not much, and you're flying with everyone around you saying "WOW, that's cool!" And then you can monitor and play back everyone around you saying "WOW that's cool!".on HD Video. Spend a 100 or 100 less and you have an overpriced toy. You'll need to spend $500 or more to get any real benefit over the FC40. It has all the range and feature I'll need for a long long time. I already analyzed this to death so stop looking around and just buy it.

I purchased the DJI Air 3S through Koozam, but it cost approximately $600 more than at other DJI retailers. Retailer justifies this cost on additional items that are sold with the Air 3S. While the DJI items are of outstanding quality, the additional accessories included were cheap, junk, low-cost generic items. The backpack, in particular, is extremely poor quality. I was very disappointed with everything except for the Air 3S itself. I do not believe it is worth the extra cost if you can find the Air 3S elsewhere. On a positive note, Koozam did have the Air 3S in stock when many other retailers did not, and they were very quick to ship the product.

Bought this drone as my first drone ever. I picked this one because it’s the same brand our Search and Rescue team uses. It’s amazing! Love the features. I’ll never maximize its potential, but I love it!
