Mandala Coloring Book Vol 3 Paperback – January 10, 2014

This is about my fifth coloring book and the best so far. There is a nice variety of images such as classic, 60's, flowers, Mexican etc. Each picture seems to call out different color patterns. The lines look small at first but, are perfect to color. The detail of the design allows you to enjoy the coloring process longer. The pictures are also only on ONE side!!!! The only problem is that the designs are printed too close to the edge but using scissors as a razor I have been able to get the pictures out of the book so I can color them.

This book is pretty neat. I like most of the patterns in it. I've used several other coloring books, mostly those published by Design Originals and a few Michaels craft store exlcusive books. The other books I've used all have perforated pages, This does not. The 4 star would have been 5 stars if this had perforated pages. I like to tear pages out and separate the ones I want to do vs not do out of books...because I have friends who color and share my unwanted sheets with friends.Pros:1.Someone else stated this paper can not handle gel pens. I used/tested artlicious brand gel pens I bought here on amazon on a sheet just now and didn't notice it does this any worse than other coloring books I've used them in and it just barely goes through.2. This book includes a large variety and vary different types of details.3. This book is perfect for all color mediums, crayons, color pencils, gel pens. I've not tried markers, but I don't agree on markers working well with most books out there, with the exception of the special stained glass paper books.4. Great price for number of patterns you get in the bookCons:1. No perforated pages2. Some patterns too small/busy/detailed for my taste (but several I do like also!)

Love this book! I love how there is so many to choose from and they're all on their own page so that if you color with markers it won't bleed through to the other side (I put a sheet of paper behind the pages though so that it wouldn't bleed through to the next page). The paper is really nice stock and I love how they made easier to more time consuming pictures all mixed up. All in all, it's an awesome book, I can't wait to order another one and it's a wonderful stress reliever.

I love the books by MARTI JO'S COORING, Her books are always beautiful and of great quality. She actually takes pride in the products she sells. The Mandalas are beautiful and not too detailed, would be great for a senior or someone just beginning. The paper is of a good medium weight ad bright white. The pages are non perforated but easy to remove with an x-acto knife. Each image has its own page and there are no two page spreads. I get so excited when I get one of these Mandala books. If you get this book or any mandala books or her other type of books, you will love them too!

This is my first book, and although it's "more advanced" I'm glad I got it. The designs are very nice! And I'm getting lots of ideas for crafts items I can make once the design in colored. One hint for older folks: you might want some magnifying glasses for the smaller sections of some designs - they do get quite intricate, and I know just my normal glasses alone aren't enough for me.

I am getting so much enjoyment from this coloring book. It says for advanced colorists but it has all levels. I started with the simplest one as this was my first attempt at coloring on adult level. It gives me so much stress relief and is relaxing. Relax and go slow and enjoy. Picking colored pencils is fun and part of the experience. I like the most detailed pictures now as they take more time and thought and thus more relaxing.

This is my second coloring book, and the designs are varied and lovely, ranging in intricacy. I use sharpie pens and the color will bleed through, so put a sheet of paper underneath as you work. My only complaint is that the pages aren't perforated for easy tearing out. I guess you could use scissors or a box cutter, but i haven't tried that method. Of course if you intend to leave the pages in the book it's not a concern.

This coloring book is good for if you like variety in your coloring styles. I tend to like bolder lines, this book has a few bold lined designs, but the majority are more intricate with very small details.
