Fluval Clarify Bio for Aquarium Water Treatment, 4-Ounce

Ordered this when I was out of the Quick Clear with the baby blue wrap at the top, and this works MUCH better at keeping our turtle aquarium crystal clear. 2 capfulls about once a week, and topping off the water as needed, is all it takes. We have an FX pump/filter, which obviously helps, but this keeps the tank clearer longer than the other stuff.

So I had some a complete clean out of my tank and filters (water was crystal clear) and for a couple days after, the water was fine and then the cloudy mess happened. I ended up using "Acurel F" which is an organicly based quick fix product that once you start using it, you have use it EVERY day. And it's not cheep either. But what happened was my filters started growing this weird alge and the particles that that stuff would clump together started to gather like crazy all over everything. It was disgusting! Don't recommend that product at all even though for a few hours you get pretty water. It's also mildly acidic, and I used too much and some of my fish died :-( so I found this great stuff and it has been working like a charm. Slow process, but it did have A LOT of organic matter to start clearing out of my tank. Very happy so far and I'm on day 4 after the 2nd treatment on the evening of day 3. It doing its job for sure, and I feel so relieved. I will FINALLY have a pretty tank again. Highly suggested by me to you if need help with the water clarity. I'll post back again to give another update in a couple days Ok day 5 and my tank is crystal clear- absolutely stunning. Very happy and definitely recommend

1st day, I put product in tank with Fluval Biological Cleaner for Aquariums also. Don't know if that made a difference but it didn't hurt. 2nd day kinda noticed a slight change in water. 3rd day it looked pretty good. I figured this was end result. Nope 4th day looked even better. This is the 5th since I put in the product and my tank is crystal clear. I'm amazed, I'm really amazed that this product worked so well. I'm sold on this , I've tried SO MANY and wow. Makes me want to get more aquarium's, lol. I have two 36 gallon tanks right now. One planted that has algae problem so bad...will try product one it next. Will up date and see what happens. UV light works on it but not much else.

Boy, I thought I was having trouble with my filter. My tank (with only one large goldfish and a Pleco) was milky cloudy and stunk. I spent more than a few months trying to troubleshoot the filter (Fluval 605 canister filter, I think.) I bought this after reading about it online, and shoot! This totally solved my problem! My water is crystal clear again, and it smells like a healthy fish tank again. This is definitely worth trying if you have cloudy water.

This stuff works great! I had super cloudy water due to it being a newly set up tank and this cleared it up and made it crystal clear water! I used it a couple times to clear the water up and hadn't used it any more.

I recently got a new 10 gal aquarium and the tank kept getting cloudy. The first time I ended up changing all the water, the second time I started searching the internet for the cause. When I learned it could be a bacteria bloom, which happens often to new tanks and tanks where fish have been over fed, I started searching products on amazon. Fluval was a cheap solution and was highly recommended by users. It works on the first try, but afterward it seems to loose it's effectiveness. I think it only works when you order it fresh. But after you open it for the first time and use it the remaining product does not work anymore. Shake it well and make sure you do not pour too much chemical into your fish tank. If done right, you should notice results within hours. After 48 hours my fish tank is crystal clear again. The fish were not effected in any way. Overall you are better off getting something else.

Dealing with biological cloudiness in my tank for some time. The first one of these I ordered had a punctured foil seal under the cap, so I got a replacement. In the meantime I used the first one, with middling results - the water clouded up after using (as promised), but didn't really get much clearer afterwards. But with the fresh second one, it gets much clearer afterwards - a noticeable improvement. So this stuff does work for cloudiness caused by biological issues, but it needs to be fresh.

I lost one angelfish, one black skirt tetra, one rubber lip pleco and one hillstream loach in a week. DO NOT BUY.
