The flags are extremely durable and well made as are all the components of the shaft and the darts themselves! Yes they are a bit pricey but, we've always raised our boys to respect the gifts you received and when you take care of them they can last you years worth of enjoyment! We purchased extra bulk sets for when his group of guys come over and we also have a mid-level range of darts that help to hone and sharper your skills until you have gathered enough time in practice, the understanding of the physics involved and how to properly dial in your specific darts to accommodate each individual s throwing style while maximizing their potential!! We've always been an extremely competitive family and found great joy in any form of sport or activity that requires one to put in more awareness and thought into how they play the game, that is why we have always strived to purchase every level of "equipment" for each sport or activity in order to ensure that we are all pushing our mind and body to it's greatest limits and beyond in order to be at our very best at whatever new adventure we take on!!
