Super bien
Exelente olla, muy bonita y de buena medida. Solo un detalle, la lámina es un poco delgada, pero realmente es de acero inoxidable. Está muy bien. La recomiendo.

Not the Farberware of old, but still OK.
Ok, this is not the Farberware of yore. The last of the founding Farbers separated from the company in the early 1970s. Since the late 1990s the Farberware name has been licensed by the Meyer Corporation. From a practical standpoint what does this mean? Well, current Farberware is made of a lesser quality steel than it used to be (18/0 vs 18/10) And what's with the glass lids? Well they're cheaper to make than stainless steel lids (and, BTW, Pyrex isn't Pyrex anymore either. Pyrex is a now a licensed name, and is no longer made as thermal shock resistant as the original Pyrex. The glass lid on this pot doesn't even pretend to be thermal shock resistant , so be careful and don't drop cooler liquid on, or wipe with a damp cloth, a hot lid. ) I have Farberware that's been going strong for over 40 years. I don't expect this pot to last for 40 years -- but then I don't expect to last for another 40 years myself. That said, here's what I like about this pot: The handles, which are a vast improvement over the original. They come out from the sides of the pot, making them easier to grasp and balance a full pot. It also makes the pot easier to tote to somewhere like a pot luck supper. (However, they are not replaceable. The old ones were, and in the course of 40+ years I've replaced a few) The height vs. diameter. Unlike the older Faberware stockpots, which were short and wide, this pot is narrower and taller, which makes it more stable when you lift it from the stove. The price. At around $25 I don't think it can be beat. It heats evenly ( be careful not to have your burner too high, or things will burn. That is not because it's a poorly constructed pot, but because it's a well constructed pot) and doesn't crowd other pots on the stove. I'm sure the pot itself will outlast its lid, which is a real shame. But since nearly every manufacturer has cheaped out and gone to glass, I don't think there's a better choice out there.
