Prime-Line E 2457 Latch Strike Plate, Satin Nickel Finish (2 Pack)

These door strikers are good quality and have a nice nickel finish. They are thin so they bend easier than some other strike plates as you tighten them down. This wasn't a problem for me on this basement door. Also the inner part of the strike plates are squared off instead of rounded off like most strike plates. Since they are made like that you will have to adapt your existing door striker cutouts or just screw them down and cause the door striker plates to bend some. It's worth paying attention to how your current striker plates are made so installation will be easier for you.

Have ~50 year old doors around in my apartment. Clearly, the prior owners never replaced/updated what should be a very simple, basic part. If not the original, what was there looked very close to it (very rough & weathered). I wasn't certain these would fit. Ended up perfect fits. Sturdy & sleek looking too!

This seems to be made more for an outside door, but works fine on the inside door where I have installed it. The wholes did not align with the older latch strike that had been on this particular inside door, so I had to screw one of the screw into a "new" whole. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

This is a direct replacement for any 1-5/8 in. latch strike. I used both of mine to replace ones that had been painted over and looked terrible. These are smooth satin nickel and have a very nice finish. It was a two-pack, making it a good value for the money and also came with all the screws necessary for installation. There were no adjustments that needed to be made in any way. A drill took the old ones off, and the drill put these right back on. There has been no sign of wear on the finish after the door has been opened and closed god knows how many times. As long as you are sure you're buying the correct size and finish these would work just fine.

Not much to say here. It's cheap and decent quality. I'm impressed.

I bought these to go with my satin nickel door handles. They look nice, are priced correctly and are easy to install. However, I have noticed that the finish is wearing off earlier than what it should from the door opening and closing. Probably a better idea to spend a little more and get a better quality that will hold up better over time.
