Complete disappointment - on cost, quality and performance
Rarely do I write a bad review but this one surely deserves it. For the cost, quality and performance this product came up short on all lines. Cost: High with no performance: You would expect to get what you paid for "Wireless capabilities" with a strong signal but it came up short in this area - complete disappointment. Propagation was little if any in a honda civic trunk to driver side cavity. Antennas could barely maintain a solid 2.4GHZ signal from the transmitter to receiver. In short, the signal would go through the back seats, front seats to the receiver fine. The minute you put a body in its path i.e a back seat,, passenger or driver one or both the signal would barely display solid, go hazy, go blur or would drop out. Move the object out if its way, signal would return and stay solid clean. I bought the product because I didn't want to run the long AV cable from the trunk to the driver cavity. Again total failure. In the end I wired it, mainly because I had also modify the extremely cheap quality rear view mirror in order to mount it. Sadly, I started here first because the rest of the assembly looked to be straight forward. Otherwise, I would have sent it back for a refund. In short, higher cost does not mean better quality or performance. Hopefully this brand will step and put a better product out.

Nice product, manual is lacking
Great product, but it's important to note that the manual does NOT have much info on controlling and set-up. There are two buttons attached to the camera. Red button mirrors the camera picture, flipping images to the other side of the display. Black button doesn't do anything that we could find. Power button on the mirror/display does nothing except randomly adjust display brightness. Installation instructions were on point, however. Still recommend this product.

You get what you pay for but this will do the trick for what I was willing to pay
I haven't read good things about Pyle stuff in a while and passed on this product when I was looking for a backup camera system for my Subaru. However, with my van, I'm not able to use the stereo screen so the options were a seperate monitor (no room so no thanks), a wi-fi unit that can go to a phone or tablet (Too much hassle to handle a device just to reverse), or go with a mirror monitor version. Most of the mirror monitors are add on mounts which I don't want for a couple of reasons. 1) Thief bait 2) Don't look great. For me, the stock mirror on my van was missing anyway so why not. Installation: I've been doing car audio since back in the thumper days of the late 80's and this was my 2nd wireless reverse camera install so it went fairly quick/easy for me. The instructions were worthless. With any auto electronic installation figure on supplying your own fuse block piggy back, t-taps, bullet splices, extra wire for power/ground, extra rca, and 2 craft beers. For the mirror and wireless receiver I wired the red wires both to a fuse piggy back to the same fuse the stereo is on. Then connected both grounds to bullet splice to add extra length and ran that wire to screw on the frame. The camera and wireless transmitter were a little more challenging with the challenge being finding somewhere to mount the transmitter either inside or somewhere protected. And then figuring out where to run the line to the reverse light wire. My transmitter right now is just barely inside the rear door of my van. I'm probably just going to cut off the power connectors and extend the wires. I don't know why the transmitter has a plug for power/ground but the receiver just has leads. Or at least make the plug wire long enough to actually be usable. Anywho, install was problem free for the most part in relation to the actual product. It's the vehicle itself that's the challenge most of the time. I'll probably ditch the wireless and just run the rca the full length of the van at some point. But for now it works. Quality: The mirror feels cheap and is a lot lighter than a stock mirror. I don't mind that for the most part. The video signal is ok. I may do a test and run some rca cable to compare. The actual mirror quality seems ok. I'm' in a van so it's not like mirror image quality is a concern since I can't see sh*t out the back anyway. Hence the camera. As far as durability goes, I guess we'll see. Overall: The product serves its purpose for what I need at a price I was willing to pay. Upgrading the camera will be easy enough should I need to do that. **** If you don't have experience installing auto electronics, be sure to watch some vids to see if it's something you think you'll be able to do. I've had to fix or finish so many projects from friends/family that thought an install would be quick and easy ***

Nice quality and basic in appearance
I was impressed with quality. I was confused with witch wires to connect and what not to connect. Some information not included in instructions. Generally a class act. I waited too long to install. The image in the mirror is way too dim to see in daylight. Ok at night. I recommend a different product now that I have installed. I bought another brand for less money and it was easier to install and had a front camera also. It also recorded front and rear cameras too.

Quality Product
This system seems to be well made and the instructions were helpful. I would recommend this product to those wanting an economical yet well made system. I installed on my 17yo sons car. He seems to find it very helpful.

Good mirror overall
Need a little get used to. The object in mirror appeared darker than the original mirror when driving regularly. Definitely a big help when reversing though. However, there was a bad glare in broad daylight. Hard to see the lines. I attached pictures in different lighting and let you be the judge.
