The brightness of the panel is awesome. Picture clarity for 4k is also great due to high contrast & brightness. Tested it with Samsung UHD videos, looks very clear & motion rate is also good. Slow motion 4k videos plays like crisp.While talking about upscaling 1080p looks closer to 4k otherwise than motion blur at sometimes & about 720p best upscaling results in clarity.This tv has perfect black & dark colors so that contrast ratio of other colors are very good for its competition, & also local dimming is good & no light scattering or bright /dark spots.It merely sounds like a budget 4k tv but it has all the features of best 4k tvs in market.Sound quality is very good but sound is not enough loud for clear coverage of large rooms that's why I am using home theatre system, so no worries.What's the best is the price tag at which this tv is being offered, I have purchased 42000 rs.Some people can take this otherwise as they think what could be offered for such a hefty price. But this tv absolutely rocks in price segment & the build quality is also tough.Panel looks premium.Only concern is google has not prepared for its playstore good enough so that you have look for apps here & there, & that is not fault of vu.I have done this review after 2 months use, no problem till now.

The media could not be loaded.  Pros-1. Picture quality is amazing.2. Sound is almost fair.3. Almost a mini theatre in small budget.4. Value for money.Cons-1. On side angle view appears shadow form vertically where branded TVS doesn't have. Is is very minute. This should be corrected.2. Have experienced little temperature at back side panel .company should provide an internal fan for cooling system.3. Given Bluetooth functioning unable to sound good on pairing . Need to correct.

Brought this TV after had an issue with TCL TvPicture quality is good but after a month of usage started facing an issue with screen bleeding.Android os is not optimized for this tv till now now there no android updates.This TV stuck to android 8.0 no 9.0 update as confirmed by VU.Apps are crashing some times I switch between HDMI and other input source having issue with on audio or picture input I need to restart this Tv.This Tv is not meant to play games either all games are crashing or lagging.HDR10+ has brightness issue and flicker in dark areas in the picture quality.In youtube and other media player's, there is no HDR/DV support.Youtube and MX player 4k playback lagging a lot, due to its poor CPU.

Vu premium android TV 55-OA DETAILED STORYThe pros and cons of the entire process of getting this great product home.Why this VU PREMIUM ANDROID TV MODEL -OLED PAY IN LAKS GET BURN IN.Qled PAY IN LAKS AND NO DOLBY VISION/ANDROID.LED DIDN'T WANT EDGE LIT TV.SO THIS VALUE FOR MONEY VU PREMIUM ANDROID TV.450 nits brightness, good contrast.1) ONLINE OR OFFLINE ORDEROrder from flipkrt they appear to have the best rates I got it for 41k,with the credit card offer.Rest everywhere else it is going 44 k and over.Vu's own dealership is selling it at 44k,other stores or delears are more than this.Vu themselves had a 3 yr warranty before but not now as they have changed it to one year.You have to purchase that can be extended. I ll come to this extended warranty part later.2) YOUTUBE INFORMATION REVIEWSIn order to see some proper visuals of th TV and a small review check it on YouTube, techie bees or something has put on quite an informative video about it.3) DELIVERYDelivery of the product was as promised, flipkrt has the open box process through which you can ask the delivery guys to open the box and show you for your confirmation if the product is safe and has not been damaged.4) INSTALLATIONWithin 24 48 hours your product will be installed by JEEVES,.We had a very NOT SO GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH INSTALLATION.The installation guy came and hear this, ONE GUY CAME FOR INSTALLATION HE INVERTED THIS 55 INCHES TV UPSIDE DOWN VERTICALLY ON CARTON BOX OF THE TV and fit the 4 screws to the TV bottom and COMPLETED THE INSTALLATION. Table mount and NOT wall mount. BASICALLY WALL MOUNTED TV WILL ALWAYS BE CANTILEVERED FROM THE WALL WHICH IS NOT PREFERRED FOR ANYTHING MORE THAN 43 INCH TV.This was absolutely WRONG AS HE HAD TO PUT IT ON A FLAT SOFT SURFACE WITH SCREEN BEING FACE DOWN AND NOT VERTICALLY HOLDING IT WITHOUT HARMING OR MANHANDLING IT. Luckily nothing got damaged.This just goes to show the how well built TV IS.As far as making it ready to use he barely spent a few minutes, again this is android and anyone who's used know mostly how to set it up, pairing the Bluetooth to th TV is what I thought he did at the most.5)WARRANTY AND EXTENDED WARRANTYFirst and foremost we felt that it was the jeeves guys telling us that we have had to buy this extended only DURING THE TIME OF INSTALLATION, AND THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BUY IT EVEN IF THE GUY CLOSED THE TICKET OF INSTALLATION.This WAS ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH ON THE JEEVES GUYS TRYING TO SELL THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY TO THE CUSTOMER. I DID NOT GO FOR THIS REASON BEING THAT THEY SEEMED VERY PUSHY IN SELLING THAT warranty, 3570 for the extended warranty. Which I DIDN'T GO FOR.Vu themselves told me that we can buy this EXTENDED WARRANTY UPTO 90 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF BUYING THE PRODUCT, THIS IS FROM THEM DIRECTLY. This I FELT WAS PRETTY RESPONSIBLE AND REASONABLE. I am waiting for my return period to get over to get th warranty extended.6) TV USAGECMYK RGB 4K HDR PANEL TESTSTV boot time is really less compared to the other android TV,Before you do anything I would suggest you to check the panel for any of the dead pixels.Do the above mentioned tests to check for th dead pixels luckily I did not have any of these on YouTube.TV is about the panel, color reproduction, local dimming if any, the software, the physical built quality and lastly sound produced.TV magnificently produces the same colours as the big three,compared to the price difference between them this is an ABSOLUTE WINNER,.BLACK IS CORRECT, COLOUR VOLUME IS WORTH THE MONEY.The ONLY CONCERN IS THE BACK OF THE TV seems to be HEATING UP A BIT,. Not sure if this is only my TV or everyone else also is having the same concernHeating up may also have been result of this warm weather or whichever is the case this TV DISSIPATES A GOOD AMOUNT OF HEAT. Through behind the TV PANEL AND COOLS DOWN IN 15 20 MIN AFTER SWITCHING OFF,this is what I am talking about using the STANDARD NATURAL DYNAMIC CINEMA MODES OF PICTURE QUALITY.So I went in to make a calibrated mode of our own requirement which considerably reduced the heating. It worked.,Have some content downloaded on to your pendriv to check that your HDR10 4K AND DOLBY VISION 4k works ,it works perfectly fine in th TV.I took a Sony oled sword video for checking the blacks and Samsung Redbull video for the color, and they work like a charm in th TV through USB drive, USB 2 AND USB 3.This Plays both the Dolby vision and hdr10 4k content without any glitch.7)NETFLIX,Voot installation.Netflix installation was done through the app store and this gives an error that this is not optimized for this. But after saying OK in THE TV, there is no issues of playing the content through it.DOLBY VISION CONTENTUhd CONTENTHD CONTENTAll of it is playing without any difficulties. I have 100 mbps Internet.VootIt is installed and is playing without any problems.8) INPUT AND OUTPUT PORTSThe hdmi port are all 60 hz 2 and 30 hz one. This will make a difference if someone is trying to use a game console to play hdr 4k games in particular at high frame rates, this may not be possible as we are limited to 60hz. This is also the case with 1.5 _2 lak TV s also,.Finally CONS.NO LOCAL DIMMING.NO full array local dimming.NO 120 HZ REFRESH RATE.MORE HEATING COMPARED TO OTHER TVS FROM BEHIND THE TV PANEL,WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO DISSIPATE IF WALL MOUNTED, OR HAVE TO USE WALL MOUNT'S WITH PROPER CLEARANCES.NO DEDICATED AMAZON AND NETFLIX BUTTONS.NETFLIX INSTALLATION ERROR WHEN INSTALLED THROUGH APP STORE.Oddly placed home button on th remote,one miss and instead of coming down you exit to the main screen.Powering off TV requires you to hold the power button, else TV goes to standby mode.Do note that all these TVS having refresh rate of 60 hz will not be so good in handling motion compared to the 120 hz tvs but this is still worth the money for the pictures quality and ultra smooth motion works to reduce this stuttering.Vu as themselves have to provide good after sales service, with only that this product will take the image of Vu from just another manufacturer to ONE AMONG THE BEST.BASICALLY WINNER OF A PRODUCT,WILL EVENTUALLY COME TO SEE THE DURABILITY OF THE TV IN THE COMING TIME.AFTER SALES SERVICE OF VU WILL MOSTLY DECIDE THE FATE OF THE Brand.Hope this helped someone in deciding the TV.#Update 21 MAY 2019THE DYNAMIC BACKLIGHTING OPTIONLOWMEDHIGHOFFYour turn it off and adjust it manually to your rooms brightness, by default its given at 100. This one option when you reduce it to say 40 or 50 even with that this is bright enough and HEATING OF THE BACK OF THE TV REDUCED CONSIDERABLY. NO HEATING AT ALL!!!WARRANTYPurchased the additional warranty from Vu themselves, they give you the account details to which you either have to do a neft/transfer/bank deposit (pretty old school :) )You have to send your tv invoice along with the photograph of the bar code to them which is located behind the TV.After that all you do is wait for your invoice which shows you the EXTENDED WARRANTY from the date of the manufacture. Yes, from the date of purchasing (upto 90 days) whenever you make the warranty extension the warranty date starts from that date of purchasing.The HISENSE RELATION_COULDN'T HAVE BEEN HAPPIERHISENSE H8F - 2019JUST SEARCH ON YOUTUBE, this has close relation (ALMOST IDENTICAL) to that US UK MODEL. If in any ways if this is H8F I AM PRETTY SURE THIS IS A SOLID TV WITH PLENTY OF SEGMENT FIRST FEATURES.UPDATE 2 June 26(after two months of usage)JIO TV INSTALLATION_500 PLUS CHANNELS FOR FREE,(ofcourse you need broadband connection).You can install it on the TV by pendriv through a file browser, file commander in my case , links are available on YouTube.Once installed JIO TV AS OF NOW GIVES YOU AROUND 500 PLUS CHANNELS,both HD AND SD currently, with this you don't have to worry recharge for the cable,but you need to have a good broadband connection. Until we get a 5G ENABLED TV WE HAVE TO MAKE DO WITH BROADBAND. This is what I call DEATH OF DTH,.Jio TV user name and Id can be edited as per your customization, by editing the source file of the apk.
