Good for Cutting Anything
A sharp knife, not just for bread, but for cutting anything. Brabantia products are always good quality.

Great value
This knife even cuts sourdough easily. Very sharp so be careful. Pity it doesn’t come with a blade cover but that would increase the price I guess . I would certainly recommend Good price for a quality brand..

My new kitchen friend......
I bought this as a general purpose knife for everyday jobs rather than anything fancy, and it has turned out to be the knife I keep reaching for. I do a fair bit of cooking for family, and this size is ideal for slicing fruit, trimming vegetables, and slicing cheese and cooked meats without dragging out a big chef’s knife. The blade feels really sharp straight out of the box and holds its edge well with normal use. It cuts cleanly which is what you want when your hands are not as strong as they once were, like mine. The handle is comfortable and secure, even when your hands are slightly damp, and the balance feels reassuring rather than flimsy. What I like most is the cost and brand - it is fantastic value. It is easy to control, easy to clean, and tough enough not to feel precious. It lives in our drawer and gets used daily for packed lunches, dinner preps. If you want a sensible, well made utility knife that does exactly what it should without fuss, this is a very good choice. I would happily recommend it for a busy family kitchen or anyone who just wants a reliable knife they can trust.

Light and very sharp
I looked through what felt like hundreds of bread knives, which is the blessing and curse of the internet. I spent way too much time "researching" something as simple as a bread knife. This by Brabantia was actually one of the first I came across, but I kept looking and in the end went back to it. The handle is ultra light and the blade straight out of the packaging is incredibly sharp, to the point where I actually put a small nick in my finger through careless positioning. It went through even the stalest, crusty bread like butter, and it made me wonder why I didn't get one sooner. The sharpness has naturally dulled through use, even though I solely use it for bread and nothing else, but it still is great, and even those pillowy, day old farmhouse loaves which just get squashed if you use a normal knife quake under the Brabantia's gaze.
