Every Day of Lent and Easter, Year A: A Book of Activities for Children

Cute activities in this book, but I am a teacher of little ones in a catholic school, and I wish more pages in it were “copy friendly”. It really is a book that a kid should cut up, paste, and draw in.

I have used this book in the past as a kind of "homework" during the Lent season. The children who finish it can bring it to class for a prize. For the most part it is simple enough for 6-7 year-olds but it involves the parents. The book follows the Church Scripture readings for the season and is a fun way to learn more. It has a lot of hands on activities (coloring, puzzles, matching, crosswords etc.) I was glad to see it offered on Amazon. The booklets arrived quickly, in good condition.

Think of this as a "Weekly Reader" (or restaurant "activity book" for bored kids) type book: Good and full of activities, but short and of limited "replay value." Probably great as part of a CCD class, but not really able to stand on its own -- your kids will need to be familiar with the liturgical concepts of Lent and Easter first.

Again I purchased this book for young students. It is better suited to a little older group. I don't think it is only approiate for year C but could be used other years also.

I like that many times you include the appropriate age for the book. It makes it easier to choose what to order. I no longer purchase books from bookstores.

I returned this book but it would be great for reading students, say 2 to 5 grades. The acticites were good but to tought for kindergarten students.

I used this book for my Faith Formation class during Lent. The activities were very useful and helpful for the class, and the children enjoyed them as well.

The Grandchildren and my wife and I enjoyed very much.
