Helps reduce the itch!
I’ve been using this shampoo for about a week and my scalp feels so much better. I have oily and itchy scalp and have had so most of my life, so I am thankful I found Cosalic. I saw some reviews that said it was a little runny so as soon as I received it I put it in a spray bottle. It works great, I spray it directly on my scalp, it lathers up just fine. I haven’t been to a doctor for a diagnosis or prescription but this works better than any over the counter shampoo I have ever used. And that’s a lot.I wanted to add to this review because after using almost the entire bottle of shampoo I had started to realize I had a lot of breakage in my very thin and fine hair. I first noticed there was lots of hair on the drain and in my hands. Then thought my hair felt thinner on the ends. And after examining it I saw that my (all one length) 14 inch long hair had sections that were 3, 4 and 5 inches long. Breakage in mid strand. I discontinued using it. Cut my hair, changed shampoo and it’s growing back nicely.

Need to shake bottle before use
This is a very good product and have used it for a year. Users of this product need to know it must be shaken well before use. The bottle nor box do not provide this guidance. The coal tar I believe in its formula, precipitates out and settles to the bottom of the bottle. If one does not shake the bottle, the full medicinal value is lost. I discovered this precipitation when I found a clump mass at the bottom of the bottle of my first use. Remember this is a medicinal type shampoo recommended by my doctor. It works well for the treatments it is formulated to cover. Don’t expect it to be a sweet perfumed shampoo that is only as good as the perfume.

Packaging isn't appropriate
This is very thin fluid and goes everywhere. If you're like me you'll spill 1/4 of the bottle right after you open it. If it were in a bottle with a small nozzle it would get more stars from me. Having spilled more than I used on half the occasions I've opened the bottle makes me regret the purchase. The real question is does it work? To be honest I don't know, like most people who have the type of skin condition that requires this you'll have good or bad days due to diet and hygiene. I feel like I see improvement if I eat right. When I eat things I shouldn't no shampoo is enough. So does it work, does it help? Probably in a regiment where this is cycled with other products in an appropriate regiment and dosage. I think I've used more than necessary due to the bottle most of the time. If you do choose to buy this product do yourself a favor and buy a better bottle with a small squeeze tip that securely closes and you'll probably be happier than me about it.

Too early to tell.
I like the foam and the coolness on skin. It works for a few hours but thus far has not had long-term results.

Wonderful!
I have scalp psoriasis, and this put me into almost complete remission. Which is just remarkable. It took two years of trial and error and pain and discomfort and embarrassment to get here. I now only have to wash my hair a couple times a week (I have very dry, curly hair), and I use this each time, but not as normal shampoo. I shampoo with regular shampoo first, then with this, then do conditioner. It works way, way better than my last scalp treatments I was using. They were coal tar and salicylic acid separately, and had to sit for several minutes. So it took a lot more time, I had to use them both no further apart than every other day, and they didn't work nearly as well as this. I noticed a massive improvement the very first time I used Cosalic. I immediately put it on subscribe and save!

Poor results and very runny
This is a product manufactured in India, likely for the local population. Very runny and poor quality, didn’t improve my scalp symptoms much compared to the previous product I had. I won’t be buying this product again.
