Sharp and thin yet flexible and strong!
Bought this to embroider beaded lace onto a gown. The dress (amazing as it is) now looks like I spent thousands of dollars! The eye of this needle looks impossible to thread with regular sewing thread, but did so with ease, without any specialty tools required! Saved me time, headache and cramped hand muscles. Definitely recommended!!

working great for a variety of stitches and beads
I'd tried using size 10, 13, and 15 beading needles. Size 15 were too hard to thread (broke the first one). Size 13 was OK but I wanted to see if I could get by with something just a little bit bigger. Size 10 was sturdy and easy to thread but too big for some of my smaller seed beads. So I bought these. I am really happy with them and will be using them often.I am using 4 lb test Fireline with these mostly. I don't find it too difficult to thread but I have a lighted magnifier that is helping. I haven't gone through any very small seed beads lately, mostly just size 10 and 11 and some firepolished and other Czech shaped beads, as well as some semiprecious beads, and these have worked well in all of those cases. (These are too large for pearls. You really want a twisted wire needle with a collapsible eye for pearls.)These bend slightly but I have found that it is perfectly acceptable to use bent beading needles. The only place you might have a little trouble with these is if you're using coated Czech beads; because of the way the color is added, sometimes the holes are a little smaller or partially blocked compared to Japanese seed beads. If that is the case, just pick up a different bead, though. Seed beads are almost always sold in quantities far greater than what you will actually need for a project, so I've always considered a few casualties acceptable.Anyway, happy with these needles so far. I've successfully completed three projects with them and they give every indication of lasting for a long time.

Best needles I've found for bead weaving
Best needles I've found for bead weaving.Sturdy, and flexible.I prefer using these long needles, just makes things easier, especially when passing thru several beads. For me, Shorter needles don't work as well when making a Peyote bracelet or what ever.I have used these for some narrower pieces of Loom work.
