BOSCH HC2122 3/4 in. x 6 in. x 8 in. Bulldog SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Bit

Drills through concrete with ease. Bought this for a Bosch hammer drill. Bit does not run and cuts with accuracy. Great quality from a German made bit. I'm sold on Bosch bits and own quite a bit of them. Highly recommended.

Hi all you guys and girls out there in, i need to drill a hole in concrete land. I got this bit and it bores a hole in concrete quicker and easier than anything else i have ever tried. I put it in my Bosch roto hammer and it was like a new species of drilling was discovered. I now present to you, BOREASAURUS. The most capable of the drilling asaurus. Special thanks to the Amazon team and the delivery people as it was delivered fast, and on new years eve, when most people had time off.

Good product. Fits in hammer drill nicely. Works well. Don't know durability yet as I only drilled a few holes but Bosch is usually a quality brand. Cheaper than in stores

I manage a manufacturing company and I have workers who are like the gods of destruction. Walls are always the first victim an I needed to bolt down some heavy duty guards as I wanted to stop buying dry wall and patching up the walls... I found this drill bit for my SDS plus hammer drill and started my work. I read reviews from others, but maybe because I have such a thick drill bit, I never experienced what others experienced yet. The bit never broke midway through, nor has the drill tip changed shape or whatever else I've seen. I'm nowhere near down protecting the building but I have already drilled out nearly 50, 5-inch deep holes with this drill bit and there's barely any sign of wear and tear. At the same time though, I have a bucket of water to cool down the drill bit to prevent the heat from changing the shape and I constant check to make sure I'm drilling straight in the same direction to prevent the drill bit from bending. From my honest opinion, these drill bits for the price that they're at, they're way too good to be given bad reviews and I'm genuinely believing the people that didn't have a good experience with these either didn't properly handle the drill bit OR really actually received a faulty bit, which does seem understandable if they are making these at this price point so you have to give them some slack.

I used this to drill 20 holes in sandstone to secure a versatube type shed. While I bought 2 of these bits in case I wore out the first one, however the first bit handled all 20 holes with minimal wear. Be sure to add water to the hole as you are drilling. This reduces friction as the hole gets deeper and helps to remove the cuttings.

I'm going to return the bit. I was shipped by amazon just wrapped in bubble wrap and was completely arched/bowed rendering it unusable and destroyed. I have purchased the same bit before in a larger size which they are awesome workhorses, I needed this smaller size to make punching through a 36inch masonry and adobe wall. Well now I have to wait again. The bubble wrap shipping amazon chose is totally unacceptable. They took away the shipping box review so I'm leaving my negative feedback here. Update: replacement bit came in today, this time it was shipped in a cardboard box fully protected. Bit was straight and ready to put in work! These masonry bits are fantastic. I'm changing my rating from 1 for the arched bubble wrapped bit to a 5 for the replacement properly shipped. Again my negative feedback was directed towards the shipping the bit themselves are superb.

A great product, at a great price. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This Bosch Bit made drilling through a very hard and established concrete foundation as easy as a hot knife through butter. It also made my job installing a Lorex Security Camera set-up much easier than I thought it would be.

Really solid rock bit. I've done 40 or 50 holes in granite and some in limestone, basalt, and gniess. Still going strong. Highly recommended. Beats the pants of the hardware store bits that drop the carbide after 6 holes... Be sure to grease the sds drive and go lightly, you don't want to force the bit against the stone. It needs to be able to bounce a little to work efficiently.
