Worth every penny, top notch waterproof touring gear
Had to write this review on my return from 820 mile South Coast trip as it’s the least Lomos deserve....Nothing to dislike! Although only two reviews on Amazon I checked out other selling points and the reviews were great....and I’m totally impressed with this product, including the price. Having bought a full Ducati touring kit for my Ducati Monster 1200S ( and been sorely disappointed with the product, poor zips, weak clips, etc....) I took a chance on these as I now have a Ducati pannier frame that would at a guess just about hold the bags from the wheels. When they arrived I was immediately impressed with the welded seam quality and thickness of the bags, the quantity of strapping and the huge Velcro saddle strap that covers the rear saddle/tail cover. (Bit of advice, get some anti slip fro your tail cover as it prevents road grit from driven rain rubbing the paintwork). Trialled then with a local weekend camping ride appro 120 mile round trip, fully laden with tent, sleeping bag and mat, stove, clothes, shoes, wet gear and bikes clobber. Held tight as you like, sits neatly behind the rider and doesn’t shift laterally.Bags have roll top and clips, tightening straps and 3no Velcro girdle straps, 2 no adjustable safety straps and handles, although carrying is easier and more a case of like a horse saddle over the shoulder. Rode 8hrs of rain (30-90mph) and not a drop got in on just two rolls of the top strap, so in my book that’s watertight.Only issue I had was the positioning with my stock exhaust cans, I had to glue a welding heat pad to the bag to prevent it melting on the top can, but it worked fine. Also the spring clip on the rear locator strap end got too hot and melted shut, but just repositioned to avoid direct heat in future. All round opinion: great high quality product, good stitching, plenty of security points, Great capacity, looks good on the bike. And....Fantastic value for the money!Tip: I’m knocking up some 12 mm varnished plywood liner walls for the inner sides for more support against the bike pannier frame to fit inside the bags (avoids adding anything to the bike for aesthetic reasons. Thanks Lomo!

Excellent price for waterproof soft panniers!
This is a top-of-the-line waterproof set of soft panniers. They appear to be well-constructed of good materials. Quality control appeared to be good during construction and I didn't find any flaws in workmanship during my initial inspection. The selling price was very reasonable compared to competitors in the soft pannier market. The price with the exchange rate plus shipping to the USA made them a little less attractive to me. Having said that, international economics and shipping are a separate complaint. The panniers are great! It took about two weeks to receive them. I don't know if this a long wait or not, since I've never purchased anything shipped from the UK. I would definitely recommend these panniers to my friends!

Perfect for the Yamaha XMAX 300
Brilliant bags. It has taken ages to find panniers to snugly fit our Yamaha XMAX 300 (Yamaha does not produce panniers to fit this model). We have a Shad top box on a Shad carrier so I cannot guarantee they would fit neatly through the default Yamaha grab rails, although they are very similar to the grab rail section of the Shad carrier.

Could be much better, some modification may be required.
The buckle straps that go over the top of the bag are way too short, the securing straps for the bottom of the bags have cheap nasty carabiners and as for the bags themselves they will melt if your pea shooter blows directly on them as seen in the photos, common sense should have prevailed here and the addition of a cheap soldering mat would have prevented that, given 3 stars at a push and would have given 4 if the straps were decent as the bags are roomy, easy to fit and cheap.

Great bags
Great bags did the NC500 with rain every day over 9 days and they were fantastic. I’ve ridden over 2000 miles now with them with no problems at all can’t recommend enough.

Well made and sturdy
I have "mounts" either side of my motorbike, so rather than use straps supplied, mine are cable tied to the mountings. So far, so good. I made a rookie mistake in not folding the top over correctly, so when it rained, the insides were wet.Take time closing the top and it wont happen to youHappy to recommend
